I think that Baron can check this. He should then remove the person who is lying of the website. Trump would use the same tactics, so I have a good idea about who is cheating. Fake news. LOL.
suntrader has been tailing me for months! everytime i post something he is on my like flys on sheet. suntrader do you have some sort of beacon on me buddy? i would like to friends lets call this a truce? i cant win with you, so i offer peace. hope you bought endo on my reccomendation.
I'm posting on an open forum responding to what I see. What about you? And oh I am a trader not a "buyer". Especially because of some other anonymous person's internet recommendation, which I totally forget about until you mentioned it above.
If the American people do not buy American cars because they are not well made. You want to force the Europeans to buy them!
US cars export to EU are subjected to a 10% tariff, EU cars export to the US are subjected to a 2.5% tariff. I don't think it is an equitable situation so why buy one that is inherently 10% more expensive?
Another in the fine tradition of 'I am a democrat/liberal but I agree with..' Why does the EU need a president with 'balls' if they already have it sewn up in their favor? Spend your money on stuff for your house, then max your credit card. Then complain to the bank you are a victim. Trade deficits are nothing complex and not generally the fault of the supplier.
Do you really think US cars would sell well in Europe if they were 10% cheaper? I certainly don't. Sure, there would be a slight sales increase but nothing dramatic. I do agree that without the tax in place, if Toyota America would build EU spec cars of US models, Toyota would certainly be a winner. No-one is going to go crazy over a US Chevy or Buick though. Cadillac has tried to break through in the market with massive discounts but there were no takers.
Perhaps if you do this across 40 industries, a slight increase in sales adds value to Americans. A slight decrease in taxes helps Americans too. Slightly lifting regulations is good for Americans. Renegotiating trade agreements is good for Americans. Slightly increasing boarder security is good for Americans. Slightly decreasing the North Korean threat is Good for Americans. Slightly curbing synthetic opiods is good for Americans. (not my large Endo position, but it helps people) Slightly Increasing manufacturing optimism helps, even if it is slight is good for Americans. Slightly increasing GDP, that's good for Americans. It all adds up, even if it is only slightly...some would argue it is more than slight, tough to say.... Markets are driven by their perception of stability, This president has done a fantastic job in his approach to regulation and his desire to promote a pro business environment for AMERICANS. Generally speaking lighter tax burdens promote creativity and and encourage entrepreneurial class. He is trying to infuse a spirit of reward for risk takers and the entrepreneurial class. It's a fantastic spirit to infuse. The left has a shot in 2020 if they focus on ideas instead of bashing accomplishments. I have not heard any ideas other then telling us through every media outlet possible that Trump is an idiot. That's not good for Americans.
