I did not deflect,I agreed with you.
Let the will of the people determine who gets elected to represent them, bottom line. The president is the leader of the nation and the person that the most people vote for should be president. The minority certainly shouldn't be ruling the majority.

It is unrealistic to think that 100% of voter fruad will be caught.Republicans keep saying its a huge widespread problem but only a few people of 130 million voters is thier only proof, that is not a widespread problem.

  2. It’s hard to get too passionate about the issue when our system leaves us a “Choice”, but no real representation.

Trump may have meant well early on, only to end up becoming part of the swamp. Perhaps you may feel I’m being too generous.

And career politician Joe Biden? The only thing shiney about Joe is the medal he got from Obama.

I guess those of us who are employed and still have our health should consider ourselves lucky and not get overly obsessive which old horse rides us the next four years.

Btw Max,state representation at the federal level comes mostly from Congress, who writes and passes the laws and have more power than The Executive Branch.Small states are evenly represented in The House, and many times overly represented due to gerrymandering.Small states are extremely over represented in the Senate where the 500,000 people of Wyoming have the same representation for Supreme Court Justices, national treaties, impeachment etc as the 40 million people in California.

In multiple states and multiple cities in the United States, we still have some cities with more registered voters than actual number of residents? Explain that one extreme liberal idiots? That is not counting Democrat operatives caught on video telling everyone that they cheat every election cycle and not about to stop now. Project Veritas exposed these Democrats engaged in cheating. That the voting rolls which Republicans and Conservatives are trying to rid of dead people and illegals (foreigners) yet, Democrat election officials refuse to cooperate? Dead people and illegals (foreigners) have been voting in US elections for sometime now. The reason the Democrats want mail in voting is that it makes cheating far, far easier. What they do is take the mail-in ballot of voters which they should not be doing anyways. Supposedly, they are trying to help our seniors. So, they are physically, taking possession of ballots that they can change the votes cast of the seniors? Who is going to stop that practice? That is not even counting voting machines that change the votes cast to the Democrat candidate? It is default to the Democrat candidate who would end up getting the vote. I saw it on a cell phone video and would not have believed it but, I saw it with my own eyes. Yes, Democrats cheat at every turn and numerous instances of it too!

Please, comparing President Donald Trump to the Democrats is a huge insult. It is like heaven and hell. He is not perfect but, atleast, he loves the US and doing his utmost to make it the best country on the planet. Democrats have done nothing but, take their fat salaries and perks and launched one bogus investigation after another bogus investigation in an effort to remove a duly elected President Donald Trump. That is treason in most countries but, gets a pass in the US?

  6. Trump pardoned Blagojevic, unnessarily harmed relations with some foreign countries, screwed up the Coronavirus Crisis, and has ok’d huge pre-crisis spending bills, probably leaving Pelosi and other prominent Democrats secretly in awe.

I thank Trump for exposing political correctness, calling out the press, and standing up for fair trade treaties. I also thank Trump for not being Joe Biden, but damn, Trump is getting closer to being fully Joe-like every day.

I respect Trump for enduring the ongoing media assault and Democrat led investigations. Most impressive is Trump’s willingness to continue under these conditions. Some will say it is because of a ego stroke and or self preservation, but at least in the beggining, it did seem like Trump was concerned, justifibly so, for the future of the United States.

Trump seems to have acted impulsively on multiple issues, displayed little depth of reasoning, and has been excessively intolerant of those with superior knowledge on a subject, who happen to offer information Trump does not want to hear.

Capitalism has all but died under Trump. Although Democracy in the United States may hold on for another 4 years if Trump is reelected, it is sure to fall soon after. Sounds negative of me, but it is a reflection of the current state of affairs in the United States.

So challenge yourself to come up with a well thought through counterpoint or two so I may feel some hope. For spending time thinking and writting about politics in our current environment seems like it is a complete waste of everyone’s time and energy.

Your state of mind is your own. I do not expect you to agree with everything I say and let us get real, real life has multiple problems, if you cannot handle it, tough luck. We all have to deal with our problems. As for perpective, there is always a positive and negative. I prefer to compare the US to Europe or to China and tell me, we are worst off economically now than, in the past? Your way of life would be markedly different and so dire if you were a Chinese citizen who was recently laid off. Do you know what the Chinese are saying about the US? They said we were lucky that we are being helped by our government with stimulus for people and businesses? In China, where a lot of workers earn just $3 a day, they did not get any stimulus to help them over losing their jobs. They got zilch. A lot of them are very bitter and sad. How about Europe which is highly, Socialist? Do you think the French are doing fine when Emmanuel Macron even before the pandemic was cracking down brutally on demonstrations? No they are not getting much from their government either. I deal in reality. Reality is I would not trade any of these countries for the US. We are fine and we will do even better once, US businesses start opening up and getting back to business.

I don't feel right about educating you if you're not paying me, so consider this a magnanimous gesture on my part. You don't have to be a citizen to get a social security card.

The path to victory for the Democrats is simple. All they have to do is promise Putin they will lift the Sanctions on Russia and repeal the Magnitsky Act.

  10. I guess it depends how deep one wants to look into things. From Nature’s survival of the fittest to Liberalism. Also, how to measure quality of life? For some people it is the close realtionships with family, friends, and members of the community. For others, it is material possessions and or an acknowledgement in a history book or statue.

The Communists have infiltrated the media, prominent colleges, the Democratic Party, Hollywood for the apparent purpose of political control of the United States. They have succeeded, as Trump is, perhaps unintentionally, doing their bidding. Soon Trump will be gone and any possible chance to return to “Traditional leadership” in the US will be lost. So what. We lost the right to maintain our way of life because of laziness brought on by years comfort and character decay. Yes, the media played a role, but Communism moved from gaining a foothold in the 1920s, or so to gaining a beachhead in the 1970s because of general social decay where politicians and voters failed to put forth the effort in order to turn back counterproductive and cultural busting Communist ideas. We allowed an outside influence to make our bed and now we get to sleep in it.

In nature, we see various species and civilization survive, thrive, and go extinct. The Christian/Capitalism/Democracy foundation of the United States had a great run and led some major innovations, greatly improving the quality of life, not including certain wars, of many. That run is over, save a few last gasps. If it is any consolation, hardship tends to build resourcefulness and we can anticipate US citizens becoming very resourceful in the generations ahead.
