Right. You dont know where to begin. You would need some basic education before attempting to read it.
Perhaps it is being descended from continental European countries that make many Americans fail to understand the difference between the British and Napoleonic inspired view of the individual's position vs the state. Any UK or Irish tourist visiting the US who has encountered the police laughs at "the land of the free" notion as reality does not bear scrutiny. Cops on ticket targets seeing people as $$ are just are just one issue of very many. But if you don't know what actual 'free' is like you can't see the problem. When I worked in a technical role for the UK police (Irish the same foundation in law) they were proud of the notion that their first duty was to the citizen and second to the state. Also though it seems the same, innocent until proven guilty means something with little or no "plea deals" in criminal cases to force poorer innocent people to bargain themselves guilty. While the Brits were a bunch of bastards who ruled Ireland for *600 years, they got a few things right. It would be a shame if America forgot this and drifted further into tyranny. *Side note, the movie "Black 47" just out is worth the watch. Pretty good guy-on-a-mission-of-vengeance movie. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3208026/
In America justice is very different based on what state you live in. Trying to find National uniformity is difficult because we have a decentralized National Government. Hence, nationalism in America for fuck boys and proud girls like tree and the mob he keeps.
Let us ask the foreign trolls bashing President Trump and his policies, which country are you from? Are you loyal to that country where you are now? I already knew the answer to that! I am just testing your IQ! Seriously, you are loyal to your country. And if you are loyal to your country, doesn't that make you a Nationalist? The reason you come to these message board to try and spread lies is because you see President Donald Trump is succeeding in MAGA! Why should you care when you do not even live in the US? The reason you care is borne out of: 1) Envy. You hate living in your shithole country and you wish all the countries in the world would be the same! Then, you can say to yourself, see it does not matter. Americans are as miserable as us! 2) You wish to come to the US and somehow has already been barred from doing so! So, you are pissed as hell and trying to start trouble. You have nothing to lose except, your misery, right? 3) You somehow hope enough Americans are dumb enough to believe your lies and vote for Socialism, Communism and Islamism to destroy the US! Well, you got that part partially right. There is a minority of Americans that believe Socialism, Communism or Islamism is good but, they do not really know what life in a communist country is like! On the plus side, more and more Democrats are waking up to the truth and the lies they have been fed by extreme liberals in Hollywood and leaving the Democrat Party. Let us call a spade a spade instead, of you guys pretending you are Americans! You are not! Not even close! Real Americans love the USA and are Nationalistic!
Indeed I traveled through half the states and the attitude/aggressiveness of police varies a lot. I truly believe the GOP went wrong in 1993 when Newt and co. decided they had been too long in the wilderness over the past 40 years and jumped the shark to winning by any means. Newt Gingrich is a psychopath and he lead the party astray. Their unified national platform of issues was totally wrong for America and a step into authoritarianism. There are slightly fewer Republicans by the law of nature because of how brain structure makes a person lean left or right. That is across the whole world. So it was of course difficult for them to control the house or senate though they could get a president in easily enough. American needs to return to candidates campaigning on state level issues, not using Fox and other propaganda outlets to force minds into a nationwide mindset. People professing beliefs they don't really hold or understand has made the foolish teams we see here every day. Before the 90s there was a lot of cross party work. The republicans might not call the shots but they did good work, made good laws and regulated the Democrats. This allowed for diversity of thinking and variation across the nation that is lacking now. I am so sick of this new Trumpian (but much older) "Lie it True" BS. It is not natural for ordinary people (lawyers and pastors maybe) and will destroy the nation.
The sausage making has never been pretty and the elimination of earmarks has a negative impact on getting work done in Congress. I know I will get lit up for that statement but it’s true. Instead of campaigning on how you brought the taxpayers money back to the district, all politicians have is how they fought the other party.
Exactly. Ceding sovereignty to international bodies is a proven method to achieving outcomes that the left cannot achieve through the political process. Kind of like how they use the federal courts. They want to taint nationalism as somehow shameful or dangerous. Like many things, it depends on the degree. Using nationalism to whip up a war frenzy, like we did to justify the Iraq war, is obviously bad. Asserting our country's interests as paramount, as Trump is doing, is reasonable and in fact you have to question the motives of other presidents, eg Obama, who failed to do so.
