Right ... I have to dumb it down: Please provide a link supporting your assertion: "Do you know most press people don't know that?" Asserting that most press people don't know that their phone can make a wifi hotspot.
It initially garnered the attention of one idiot. Hence, the initial post here on ET. Idiotic posts on ET receive attention because non-idiot members of ET examine all or most posts. Also, Sometimes, to their regret, non-idiots on ET respond to idiotic posts to help the OP, or those that may be influenced by the OP, see more clearly.
In your case, you seemed to be clueless that phones can be wifi hotspots. You then attempted to imply that most press people didn't know this as well. My conclusions are that most press people are aware that their phones can be hotspots; and that you stand alone in your beliefs.
It's just manufactured outrage to keep people angry until the election. Can you believe orangeman would troll reporters. My god what an animal. Biden surely wouldnt do this!
No...You seem to think my post was trying to insult you in some way, by inferring that I thought you did not know that laptops don't need WiFi networks, when my post came off wrong. I'm insulting the reporters who rely on their laptops for their life, and the originator of that tweet, for implying that anybody gives a damn that Trump provided a "free WiFi network" with a ridiculous password. And in thinking about it further, Trump probably employs in some way a bunch of geeks using Wireshark to sniff out information from people who connect to his little band of free networks he somehow provides.
