Sadly for for the rest of us it is quite likely the worst of the two alternatives is going to turn out to be the explanation for his bizarre behavior. The man (Trump) is a dangerous psychopath. His narcissism is just one manifestation of a more serious mental disorder known as sociopathic narcissism. The Republicans must soon come to their senses and take charge of this psychopath. He is capable of great damage.

Traits of a Narcissistic Sociopath [see https://www.healthyplace.com/personality-disorders/sociopath/beware-the-narcissistic-sociopath]
How do you spot a sociopathic narcissist? Watch for certain traits:
    • A driven quest for power. If a narcissistic sociopath cares about anything other than himself, it is destructive power and control over people.
    • Behaviors that seek love and admiration. To be sure, this isn't needy love. It's not even emotional love. It's superficial. A narcissistic sociopath sees love and admiration as power tools to manipulate and dominate .
    • No apologies, no guilt, no remorse under any circumstance. A sociopathic narcissist believes that she is a gift to the world who makes it richer and more colorful. Therefore, her calculated, even cruel actions are always justified.
    • Invincibility. The narcissistic variety of sociopath believes he is indomitable. Even punishment and prison can't stop him. They're merely part of the game.
    • Wholly self-serving. The needs and wants of others are insignificant and undeserving of consideration.
    • Act as the producer, director, and only actor of his own show. The narcissistic sociopath casts people in roles that increase his power and sense of importance and when bored, casts them aside.

  5. What remains a mystery is how people did not see this from the get-go.

  8. He is not doing this for himself but for the American people. He could easily welcome all the needy and feed them peanuts, just the libtards. Talk about control. Learn to think for yourself not like a self deserving libtard.

Relative disregard for laws is of course a common trait of career criminals. What sets Trump apart is his incautious disregard. This is rare even among criminals, and is consistent with the diagnosis of sociopathic narcissism. The sociopathic narcissist has a psycopathic belief that they are smarter than anyone else.

If one heard Trump make any one of the statements taken from the montage below, it could easily be mistaken for common exaggeration. This montage, however, indicates how serious Trump's rare mental disorder is. When a psychopath says the things that Trump says in the montage below, they believe they are being truthful, whereas most others recognize these statements as ridiculous.
