There is a reason they call the World War II generation the "Greatest Generation". They took personal responsibility for their actions. They were not whiny little snowflakes who sought someone or something to blame for every thing that occurred in their lives. If someone committed suicide they did not seek to cast blame on the polio lockdowns in the 1940s & 1950s or some other event or person. They stated very directly that the person who committed suicide was personally responsible for their unfortunate decision, and felt sorry for their family & friends. The growth of the suicide rate overall and for teens dropped during 2020 in the pandemic. The actual data for 2020 shows a drop-off in the growth of suicide compared to the trend over the past decade. Despite all the hype that the suicide rate would grow astronomically pushed by anti-lockdown advocates for political purposes - this has proven not to be true at all. If anything lockdowns improved the suicide situation in the U.S. -- possible because having families together allows them to see and take action to alleviate the problems. Worldwide the career cohort with the highest death and hospitalization rate from COVID is frontline workers who regularly worked with COVID victims on a daily basis. Higher than any other group -- including the elderly. Many of them worked the entire year without adequate PPE. It should be noted the entire initial medical team in Wuhan that dealt with the early COVID cases except for five are dead including the doctor who first publicly reported the disease. Front line doctors and nurses who deal with COVID patients every day -- view people who do not follow proper public health policies as self-centered misled imbeciles who don't care about their community while pushing death and misery across society. These frontline doctors and nurses view politicians and political-advocates who push "no-lockdown policies" as nothing more than intolerant butchers implementing a wide-scale massacre across society -- and want these people held accountable for their actions. The non-scientific policies pushed by Trump, Atlas and others killed over 550,000 Americans according to the CDC. A doctor or nurse who works daily in a COVID ward in 2020 has a high probability of being killed by COVID (whose spread is caused by imbeciles and politicians) than of being killed by bullets. Those who promote poor public health practices or don't follow proper public health practices such as wearing a mask are basically putting a gun to the head of every one of these medical staff members and telling them their lives don't matter. At some point there will be a reckoning in society with those who frivolously promoted throwing away the lives of their neighbors and medical workers -- I can only hope changes and action come sooner rather than later.

It boggles the mind how you support failed policies that placed U.S. in the top of the COVID death toll while you obviously care little for your at-risk neighbors and medical workers. Keep in mind the families and friends mourning the death of over 550,00 Americans. Every one of those deaths was preventable if the U.S. followed proper public health policies. We are the number 1 nation on the face of the earth in terms of our advanced medical system equipment, number 1 in pharma, number 1 in technology, and near the top in the number of available doctors per patient --- yet due to political idiots we are one of the worst nations in dealing with the COVID pandemic -- an event which we actually had a national public health plan for which was scrapped by the Trump administration and not followed. All the while the president and his cronies promoted non-scientific nonsense including promoting bleach, hydroxychloroquine, no lock-downs, and other complete drivel. I can only hope that rational Americans demand that someone be held accountable for this fiasco -- but sadly even basic accountability is not likely to happen.
