When you base your trading decisions on your hatred of President Donald Trump, you have injected petty politics in your trading. The stockmarket does not care! Fools will find their monies gone faster and still wondering what happened until, their next vile, rants against President Donald Trump. When he leaves the US Presidency, whether that be in 2020 or 2024, he will still be a billionaire. You would have lost probably, all your monies by that time! Hey, you got to hate Trump right? Till your eyes about to pop out of their sockets? That should be worth something. So, keep on hating! I have yet, to see trolls make any monies and I have been to a lot of financial message boards. Maybe, you will be the first one!
The thing that people like you and @LacesOut do not realize is that I use this tactic of mentally pushing my trade into more and more negative territory by cursing and ranting at it, with the idea that I will anti-jinx myself and the trade will eventually work. It's a quirky thing I have and do, and it had been working lately.
What I mean is, it works for me, to appease my head. It would not work for anyone else. Pity the folks who choose to ignore me because they cannot stand thought outside their own frame of reference.
And I didn't dump it. And what I forsaw has come to pass. I got the timing wrong, but throw enough darts at the dartboard and yer bound to hit a high-score.
Now today's sell-off can be blamed on tariffs. That was one hell of an intraday reversal. A great day to trade.
