One has to wonder, we have all time high in stock market and lowest unemployment in decades, and the reason for rate cut is???????????????????????

Because they're out of options to keep the bubble going and now have to go even more extreme. It's a hot potato. Every politician trying to pass it to the next. When the music stops, boom.

The market is pumped on buybacks from the tax cut, Corporate profits are declining. The real money is on the sidelines waiting for the fire sale because a Big recession is coming.

Which is the reason for the rate cut.

The real question is what the hell is going to happen to the US????? We are on the wrong side of fiscal policy, spending and taxes that there is little to nothing we can do lessen the impact and recover.

The Trump recession is going to hit like a “sharknado”.

Deflation like in Japan? Lowering rates, and the BoJ buying stocks sure worked for them!

  8. If the cause of deflation is the same (Burst of Real Estate bubble) Then I expect the end result will be the same! Now, add to that the trade wars, and you get a double Whammy.:sneaky:

    • "The E.U. and China will further lower interest rates and pump money into their systems," Trump tweeted.
    • "In the meantime, and with very low inflation, our Fed does nothing - and probably will do very little by comparison," he added. "Too bad!"
    • The president has taken to lambasting the U.S. central bank for what he sees as its efforts to rein in the American economy, including four rate hikes in 2018.
