Trump is terrified of the investigation into his relationship with Russia — and he should be

  1. Nice emotion there and it is good to know how you feel because that is important.

Meanwhile. I said that Pence ran on a national election ticket and was elected as part of that ticket and was also elected by the electoral college giving.

And I also said that Ford had neither of those factors. He was never elected by the people for that office and was never elected by electoral college for that office.

    Explain where this is wrong.

The people did not vote for Mike Pence to be President. (Trump either but that's a different subject.)

  3. But they did vote for him as vp knowing that vp can become president. They never did that for Ford did they?

I never said that Pence was the reason why Trump was elected as much as you would like to crabwalk down that road. I said that at least he had come to the VP role through a national and electoral college elections which allowed the people to at least learn something about him through months of campaigning. Ford did not. Work with that a little. I know it is complicated for you. For others, not so much.

  5. You have a link showing where Ford was elected VP in a national election by the people even if he did or did not get the popular vote and then subsequently elected as VP by the electoral college?

    Let's examine that.

    Ford was picked by Nixon.

    Pence was picked by Trump.

  7. That isn't what I asked you. I asked you in which election was ford elected as vp and then subsequently elected by the electoral college.

Put the link for that here.

  9. I see. So, just as I said, you cannot compare Ford to Pence in regard to their chances of being elected if the president steps down or is removed. Ford was picked directly by Nixon and never been through a popular national election. Whereas Pence ran as part of national campaign ticket that won a national election.

    Thank you.

A buddy of Nixon's- unknown outside the beltway-picked soley by a disgraced president after his first disgrace vp (agnew) resigned- versus a VP properly elected with a strong base of support. Got it. No difference there. Keep dreamin.
