In order to say a his actions were criminal you need a conviction. Innocent until proven guilty. No one, not Trump and not any of the Jan 6 rioters has been charged, much less convicted, of "insurrection". I really hope Trump isn't the nominee but this ruling looks like something out of a banana republic.
Trump was never convicted of a crime.. so the Colorado SC has no legal basis to say he violated 14th Amendment to control an election.
