HOW TIMES CHANGED, HILLARY CLINTON DAYS AFTER 9/11: IT’S OKAY TO PROFILE MUSLIMS

Things sure change when one is running for president, especially when the candidate is Hillary Clinton. On Thursday she said, Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism, but on the Sunday after 9/11 she was asked if we need to profile to protect the American people and she said, “we need to do whatever it takes.”

Whoa Achilles, slow down, you're going to snap a tendon. We agree more than you think.

First, if the 80% of the Syrian refugees are not bona fide Syrian refugees, then please trust that I am speaking of the 20% who are. WHen I spoke of the Syrian refugees, I truly meant the Syrian refugees.

Muslims and databases. I don't advocate preferential treatment for muslims. I want the government neutral on religious affiliation. If one practices and preaches a destructive militancy borne out of one's misguided religious beliefs, then that person is fair game for the government, regardless of religious affiliation.

And just because someones's political persuasion would cause others to place them in a particular political camp doesn't mean one endorses every policy measure or outrageous call for action that others in that political camp might. There's a lot disagreement under the various umbrellas. We're not a nation of goose steppers. We need to understand that to be able to come to common ground. If you think I am a liberal, trust I am not aligned necessarily with every other person you regard as liberal.

The constitution does mandate the government compile a database on the citizenry. It requires a census taken every 10 years. This was intended to maintain an accurate representation in the lower house of Congress. It has since morphed into a tool of much larger social examination.

Agreed. However, the inanity of our immigration policy lets any person into country unchecked, and everyone spied on, once inside. It should be the exact opposite. Tight border controls and background checks for those entering the country, and nobody spied on once inside. That guarantees our 4th Amendment protections, which as of today, really don't exist.

Immigration policy is different from refugee policy, which is much more rigorous.

Yes, the immigration "policy" is to open the border and not check anyone who walks across it. Including refugees...

Two wrongs make a right + white guilt, eh? Manta of Liberals...

By your logic, we should let in all the refugees - including ISIS terrorists - let them steal your possessions, bang your wife and kill your daughter, because your ancestors killed some indians 300 years ago. Oh, and slaves. Don't forget slaves.
