Trump Derangement Syndrome Support Group

  1. What's the view on the street there in Brazil toward the situation in Venezuela and the long term/short survival of Maduro?

Some days I think, it is over, Maduro is the Latino Assad and is there forever and day with the help of his russian/chinese buddies.

Other days, I think the sanctions are crippling them severely and the Columbians and Bolsanaro and Trump will meet in Miami and put a plan together.

I don't I know and I am not working any position. Just asking what the view among the locals there is.

This could be off-topic, so shoot me.

To be honest, nobody has been giving a shit about this for a long time... The media here is more interested in distorting what Bolsonaro does and says(which doesn't mean he doesn't say anything stupid... on the contrary, te guy is a "machine gun" for saying stupid shit..)...
But for, example, the reforms on social security and the public pension system(which we copied from you guys and got us in the same place where the american social security is headed), which Paulo Guede wants to do... They just keep saying over and over that, through this reform, Bolsonaro and Guedes want to fuck with poor people and help the rich get richer(And of course, it is completely the other way around. The reform basically helps the poorer and fucks the useless government employees who have huge salaries and every possible benefit from a pension system that is completely unique to them as opposed to the general population. This allows them to have payments that are up de 10 or more times the maximum that any other Brazilian citizen can get from the public general pension system. In addition they can retire much sooner than brazilians in general(up to 15 years earlier or more).

I'm saying this just to show that our countries are much more similar than most americans think. We too have serious cases of "Bolsonaro Derangement Syndrome".

  4. I see. Some similarities to Greece and california there too in the pension system. Germans working to age 65-70 so that they can help bail out Greeks retiring at 50. As you point out, it is beautiful if you are the one on the public tit. For everyone else- not so much.

Yep... And we have our own California here too. It's called "Rio De Janeiro":D... A complete shithole with beatiful beaches..(The state literally declared bankrupcy a few years back. Nothing works there and the "cariocas"(people from Rio De Janeiro) are fleeing to cities like mine(Curitiba)... It's incredible how many cariocas do Uber here in my city... And they all say the same thing: "I couldn't take it anymore... Nothing works there.. Everything is dirty .."

But to you guys I suggest visiting two cities: São Paulo and Curitiba. I LOVE SÃO PAULO... Horrible traffic, but everything you want, you find it there... And of the highest quality...

You will be amazed by it... The level of service, the quality of food, the look of these cities... It has nothing to do with what foreigners usually think of Brazil...;)

  6. I may google up some pictures of the women there later and then spend maybe 10 or 12 hours looking at them so that I can form an objective opinion.

Hopefully, I will not detach a retina. If you read the lefty press in the U.S you know that Americans do not have any healthcare system so we have to go to Cuba for all our healthcare needs.

Or you may come here too... Here we have the so much dreamt "single payer" system... And the only requirement to have the right to anything the public health care system "provides"(or claims to provide) is that you are here on brazilian soil... Nothing more...(No kidding... It is exactly like this).
Of course, to get a consultation with an ophthalmologist will take about 1 to 2 years at a minimum and another couple of years to schedule the procedure... But these are minor details...:)
Or you can do like the brazilian politicians who promoted and still defend this public system when they need health care: you can got to the two best hospitals in the country (Hospital Sírio-Libanês and Hospital Albert Einstein), both in São Paulo and naturally, both private. And get the best and fastest treatment in the country, by the best doctors (most of them at least partially, if not fully trained in the U.S....):D

Judging by the apparent randomness of your post, one or more of the non-civilized morons I blocked must have posted something after my last post...:D
