You can't admit when you are wrong even when others throw the facts with links straight into your face and smash your teeth. Unfortunately you don't realize the truth even when it kicks you in the ass. I pity someone who cannot admit being wrong. Cause by your definition you can't learn anything from anyone cause you are the know it all.
Again, you perfectly made my point: You right wingers can't admit anything even when the truth hits you in the face. Because of that you blabber about the same stuff others have realized and shared long time ago.
You said its the same, the numbers and extent and scope prove you wrong. That was my point and you simply cannot admit it.
This all started with a link I gave you to a Rasmussen poll. You didn't like what the poll said, so you instantly made up shit about it being biased, and how it was statistically impossible (forgetting that independents could be in a poll), etc. Then you fell back on the election and how wrong Rasmussen was in the past. Then you searched and searched for a poll that supported your narrative, and found the reuters poll. After proudly posting that (but not actually reading about it) you claimed victory, until I showed you why it still proved that more Americans supported the ban than were against it. Floundering at this point for anything, you fell back on a statistical definition of majority as your only hope, calling up a wikipedia article to declare victory that a "majority rule" is what you meant and that is somehow relevant to the fact that - again - more Americans favor the ban than oppose it (which is the only relevant discussion point). Now you're switching gears again in the hopes that you can point out that you were "technically correct" on the majority rule issue and that this means you were right all along. You're a fucking tool, and everyone here knows it.
We probably have to agree to disagree (as on so many other topics). Banning people from entering a country is the prerogative of the leader and executive of such country, given it is in line of constitutional principles. That appears to be the case here, except of course for the many details the president had to "correct" and back away from (green card holders, dual citizens,...). Then simply call it for what it is. Banning hundreds of millions of Muslims from entering the country, even saying that "we will give preferential treatment to Christian refugees" (not sure how this works out when you ban all Syrians and at the same time state that Syrian Christians are to be favored, lol, but thats a funny story for another day), is a ban on Muslims. Simple as that. Call it what it is and thats it. And not more than half of the American people favor this ban. A majority is more than half of respondents. It goes against every basic logic to define "majority" by "hey, more people favor the ban than not, ergo more than half of all American people favor the ban, ergo a majority of Americans favor the ban". That is the irrational mind of a child but anyone taking a Statistics 101 course with such mindset will utterly fail such course. But then I should maybe not be surprised why there are people with 19,000 posts on this site who have hardly ever had anything to say about anything trading related. Most likely they know nothing about trading, hence they hog each and every single P&R chat imaginable. Not my target audience nor group I prefer to associate with. But I felt compelled to chime in on so many lies and falsehood that was spread here. Remember? Like "Obama intentionally killed and targeted Muslims", "A majority of Americans are in favor of the ban", "Barring green card holders from entering the US is ok", and the list goes on and on.
not technically correct, correct by definition. But I know even facts in your face won't make you admit you being wrong. Good night, please carry on. Unlike you I have a job to attend to tomorrow.
1. It's not a ban on Muslims, it's a ban on citizens coming in from a list of countries, most of whom are probably muslim. However, no one is checking their religion, just their passport. 2. I gave you a poll that showed more than 50%, but you didn't like it. In the other poll that you liked, less than 50% but still more approved that were against. As for the rest of your rubbish, that's just what it is. Trash. When you have nothing left to go on you start bringing up post count, "you can't trade", etc. If this isn't your target audience, then piss off. Most here would be just fine with it.
Maybe if you spent time on political forums in your own country instead of ours, you might be on a better debating time schedule.
