Ah, my comment was not intended to infer any time pressure to respond. Respond whenever you like if at all.
So yes, in summary, all this Hokuspokus for 2 American lives and thanks to that no bans on weapons domestically nor any focus on homegrown terror and violence. It was all a great volley to appease the dumb hard core Trump crowd so that they can feel their desciple is doing something for them. Trump is certainly not doing America a favor but his constituents only. In the meantime we shall continue to see more violence all across America. Especially now that a lot of redneck Nazis feel empowered to torch mosks and all sorts of people who disagree with them. Awesome. I find this whole ban an awesome smokescreen to hide the really much more important stuff that went down that same week, which was a reshuffle of his national security team and council.
The Rasmussen article stated a majority of Americans. You don't like that poll because it doesn't support your narrative. Then you posted a Reuters poll, but in that poll, more Americans support banning than are against it. Since the definition of "majority" is "the greater number", then you lose that argument with the Reuters poll as well. What else you want to try to dance around on? Or perhaps now you don't like the Reuters poll either? And what about the Quinnipiac one I posted? No comment on that one, but I assume you think it's biased too, even though that's a left leaning org.
Yeah, as long as you're willing to admit that it was Obama that selected the countries and signed the bill to ban muslims. Not Trump.
Majority is defined as greater than 50% of respondents favoring someone or something in voting and surveying terms. It is you who changes definitions and dances around definitions. The definitions are clear and hence not a majority of Americans favors the ban on Muslims. For me this case is closed
Sorry, I provided you the dictionary definition. Are you giving me the volpunter one? Of course for you the case is closed. You want it to be. But you don't get to have your own facts - just your own opinions.
