A concern I have about the movie is it could have the opposite intended effect like Gordon Gekko's "Greed is good" speech in Wall Street. Roy Cohen being "the devil" will inspire many to copycat.
They didn't cover than angle but for him manipulating his dementia afflicted dad, the casting of his father was questionable. A couple of times I saw a flash of Fred Snr. but he had dementia in much of it.
That was only in the later years. His father was lucid during much of the repeated salvaging of his son from ruin. If they don't highlight Daddy Backstop then it's not worth watching. It would be like looking at only one side of the ledger.
