But the large for-profit universities would never be able to get away with fake degrees and the like. For example, you can enter Kaplan in the linkedin search and add "nurse" and see that there are quite a few nurses that come out of the program and work in nursing (assuming people aren't lying on Linkedin). Enjoy your long weekend! I will note that all the for-profit schools that have issues in North Carolina and nursing are the larger for-profits. Note that quote from the article was regarding ITT Tech - one of the largest schools.
No one is disputing that they stay unemployed. They have to pay for the overpriced shit degree after all. What we're saying is they'll get a degree in some made up field and then end up working the call centers or running cat5 for one of the telecomms. They could've skipped the debt or gotten something worthwhile at CC.
