A great excuse to deploy the troops to the border to stop the FBI's biggest terrorist threat; homegrown extremists.

“piezoe, post: 4753947, member: 45984"]Roughly as hard as it is to find any two Americans anywhere that are against border control.

Virtually no one, regardless of political persuasion, is "against border control"! That idea is pure Trump bullshit!; bullshit that the Republican Party has allowed to go un-rebutted and even reinforced by repetition!
Have you forgotton about sanctuary cities already? Have you forgotton the Leftist controlled media children in cages narrative even though those same policies were in place and apparently even enforced to some degree under the Obama Administration? As a reminder, when children are separated from the parents because their parents are charged with serious crimes, these children still need to be protected. As a practical matter, you use whatever available infrastructure there is available given the situation on little notice of a massive surge of immigrants flooding the border. Further, illegal immingration is unpopular among citizens from around the world, yet the Democrats are trying to shove it down the throats of US citizens. Even more interesting is most of the people who support illegal immigration to the US on ET are foreign posters. Why is that?

By the time Trump assumed office, the Obama administration had already shut down illegal border crossings to a bare trickle and greatly stepped up deportations by selective application of sensible criteria. But Obama was neither a braggart nor a demagogue, so you didn't hear about it. Now comes Trump acting like there is still a big problem with illegal border crossings. He was, and still is, lying.
According to reliable sources, benefits afforded to immigrants, legal or illegal, soared under the Obama Administration. These benefits include free college tuition, free job placement assistance, subsized housing, access to welfare and food stamps, free healthcare, and free legal assistance. Oh, now I get it, with all these free goodies, no wonder foreign posters are in favor of easy mass migration to the United States.

I personally have read a poster in Oregon for new immigrants. It basically reminded them to vote Democrat because Democrats are behind these immigrant giveaway programs. You do know how these programs are paid for, right? It is from working class people who do not benefit in any way. They face potential culture or religeous pressure, there are increased wage pressures, and the crime rate does not go down, in spite of what CNN may imply.

Happily, we are seening Angela Merkel getting ousted over her allowance of mass migrations in her country without consulting parlament. Hopefully US voters will consider not only their own personal interests in the upcoming elections, but the interests of the people of the United States.

As a dangerous demagogue, he has simply fabricated this entire issue as a way to instill fear in his low-information followers, and he's O.K.'d policies guaranteed to create chaos at the border and make it appear as though border control is out of control. Undaunted, he is now claiming that thousands of would-be immigrants, including embedded Muslims and criminals, are on their way in a "caravan" with the intention of invading the United States. This is a gigantic exaggeration. Lest you think that these unfortunate souls represent any serious threat to the United States, please realize these are tired, ill and dispossessed men, women and children who have already traveled by foot hundreds of miles across rugged terrain seeking refuge. They don't have weapons. They are still a thousand miles from their most likely U.S. border destination, assuming they both intend to go that far and are physically capable of it. The Pentagon is estimating that about 20% of the refugees will make it all the way to the U.S. border. Many more will find refuge along the way. The U.S. has the resources to deal sanely with this situation without deploying U.S. Troops to our border. This is pure political theater on Trumps part. It's ridiculous!!!
What is ridiculous is that the people of the United State do not have a direct say in this issue. Look at the polls, either Republican or Democrat. The American people are tired of mass migration into the United States, yet the Radical Leftists want it. How is that responsive to the needs and interests of the voter?

Donald Trump is seriously afflicted with a type of mental disorder that normally leaves one impaired but still capable of everyday functioning. Despite this affliction, obvious to everyone, politicians in his own party, for whatever reason, failed to rein him in, and millions of honest, hard working, but gullible, Americans made a horrible mistake when they voted him into office. Many of these innocently believed that what he said was actually true. Now, unfortunately, for all of us, he is our President. That makes him extremely dangerous.
It is funny you lead off on an issue that is of great concern to many Americans and then accuse Trump of having a mental disorder. You and the Democratic party are in denial, at best. At worse, and the most likely case, is that the Radical Leftists are trying to overrun the country with potential voters so they can maintain or exoand their power indefinately.

Do you really still do not understand why people supported Trump in enough numbers to get him elected? Do you still not see Hilary’s three word comment of “Basket of Deplorables” not being a factor? Especially inside her “Blue wall” where a few thousand vote swing would have made the difference?

If he is not stopped, he will cause further widening of social divisions in our country and violence. He will damage our economy, a topic on which he is both incompetent and a serial liar. He has called virtually every BLS economic measure during his brief tenure "the "best ever." We are not likely to recognize the damage his impulsive, quixotic policy announcements are causing, and have caused, for a number of quarters. Meanwhile, he will be contained somewhat by those who recognize the absurdity and dangers of his ill informed initiatives, dreamed up on his own without much if any recourse to experts. Many of those most disposed to controlling his impulses have already left his administration; more will no doubt follow after the coming election. If they don't leave on their own, he will drive them out according to the political version of Gresham's law; the application of which we witnessed in the rapid change of his Cabinet. He has eventually filled it largely with toadies.
Trump is a high performance, problem solving, get things done now business executive. Thus, Trump is very demanding on his subordinates. Most people are not accustomed to being involved in an demanding work environment in Washington. At least to the degree that Trump wants. If you can’t keep up, Trump will fire you and find someone who can keep up. Trump has gotten a lot done in the two years he has been in office. He has to be certainly of the most productive Presidents ever.

Many from his campaign or initial administration have already been indicted, convicted or pleaded guilty to serious violations of U.S. law. These include his campaign chairman and his national security advisor. His personal attorney has been convicted of violating campaign finance law and Trump himself has been identified in the indictment as an un-indicted co-conspirator. His EPA secretary was forced from office for improper use of public money, and his interior Secretary has resigned and is facing multiple investigations of alleged wrong doing. His Commerce secretary has been fined and required to pay restitution for stealing 120 Million in a complex scheme involving the investment management firm he previously ran, and he has been found in violation of Federal conflict of interest law regarding stock holdings.
As I understand it, Trump either gets a list of qualified candidates or recommodations from other people involved in Washington’s workings. Since many of these people are members of the swamp, it is not suprising that you will find some wrongdoers. I am glad some these criminals were discovered and ousted. Hopefully the message will get around to those who are still on an “ethical fence” in Washington: “Shape up or get out”!

This administration is already, after only two years, the most corrupt by far since Nixon's. Trump himself is currently being sued for operating a fraudulent charitable foundation. And two concurrent lawsuits in which he is a named defendant charge he is in violation of the Constitution's emoluments clause; one of these has been brought by over 200 members of the U.S. Congress.
Being sued or accused of a crime is not in of itself evidence of a crime. Especially when it is politically related. In the United States, anyway. At least as our Forefathers intended. You do know that, right?

We must not take lightly the threat posed by a demagogue in high office like Donald Trump ; a man who is not in touch with his own human fallibility. We must not ignore history!
Actually, Trump is making history. It is rare that a businessman gets elected President. Usually the voters are given a choice of two career politicians who really don’t understand business. Then one of these career politicians goes on to make mistakes that discourages business investment in infrastructure, expansion, and hiring.

It is a pity the Democrats are fighting Trump the way they are because in the final analysis, a strong economy in the US will likely translate into money being more readily available for Democratic issues. If the Democrats support Trump, more would get done and the Democrats would have the side benefit of being able to say they were also part of the economic boom.

JOHN BOLTON WAS 'REGULARLY APPALLED' BY TRUMP AND DIDN'T KNOW IF HE WAS ACTING IN AMERICA'S INTERESTS: REPORT

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton had doubts that President Donald Trump was acting in America's best interests according to a new report, as U.S. politics reels from bombshell allegations reportedly made in the former diplomat's forthcoming book.

The Washington Post reported Monday that Bolton was "regularly appalled" by the behavior of the president, citing people close to the fired national security advisor. A person familiar with the book added that Bolton was unsure if Trump was motivated by U.S. interests or by "nefarious" goals, according to the Post. Neither of the newspaper's sources were named.

  6. It almost sound like the Left is now in love with former Bush appointed and still war hawk John Bolton. It would be fun to dig up past quotes by Democrats on John Bolton, where he resigned his position after realizing the newly Democrat controlled Senate was unlikely to confirm him.

War, war hawks, and big military budgets looks good to those politicians who benefit from it, doesn’t it?

  7. I believe they want to speak with Bolton about what he witnessed first hand, no one is saying they want to fuck him.

  10. I was attempting to highlight the hypocrisy of Democrats while discrediting John Bolton without writing a book, relying instead on people’s recollection of Bolton’s position and controversies as well as Democrats efforts against him.

You really want me to throw the whole book at you on this subject? You’ve criticized me for writing long posts several times before. Should I always attempt to “prove” my position beyond a reasonable doubt now?

More precise writing I definitely need to improve on regarding subject and supporting statements. Grammar and word selection improvement would help make my ideas clearer and more powerful to others, but developing those skills implies a lot of time blogging for me, which is not actually a goal of mine.

    Do appreciate your feedback, though.
