Yes, it is disputed. Right, Obama has not changed his narrative on that. But that narrative is disputed. But Obama HAS changed his narrative on WHERE he was born from Kenya to the United States. Yes, at an early point in his trajectory, he not only claimed a Kenyan father, but also a Kenyan birth. He may have been born somewhere in the U.S., such as Hawaii, or even Seattle, back in 1961. What he is really hiding is that he was a Red Diaper Baby. Google it. He is also hiding his Islamic orientation, debts and connections. Did you know those connections got him into Harvard...and paid for it? Didn't think so.
That was from a promotional brochure his literary agent sent out. I doubt the agent made it up. Someone had to have told them he was born in Kenya, or maybe they just thought it made a good story. I had friends at the time who were very worked up about this issue and I frustrated them enormously by telling them to forget it, that it was never going to get any traction. I was right, but that doesn't mean the issue wasn't legitimate.
If it was written by Obama than it demonstrates a lapse in integrity. If not, then the agent may have assumed he was born in Kenya since his father was a Kenyan Finance Minister, or perhaps it was deliberately misleading. There is also a strong possibility that the entire thing is forged. There is proof positive that Obama was born in Hawaii, not Kenya. You must also consider that without being able to trace the exact source of something you read on the internet, you can not be certain of its authenticity. Particularly if it involves someone in politics. If you find an original of the promotional brochure then you should have much more confidence in what it says. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthers/kenyacert.asp The video will show you how advanced video editing has become. Note that when Obama says "He is Kenyan" you can't see his lips. There is a reason for that.
you must be a replacement piezoe or off your meds. you used by a thoughtful but wacky lefty willing to engage in documented argumentation. lately when faced with facts you don't like you become a cheap shot artist.
Like I said, I saw the issue as a nonstarter because I knew the republicans would never have the stones to pursue it, and I was right. That doesn't mean there was not reason to question his eligibility. The criticism that birthers were just racists trying to delegitimize a black president is ridiculous and insulting.
Looking for any update on the Hawaiian PI investigation sponsored by Trump, where can I read the final report?
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...s-investigators-to-hawaii-to-look-into-obama/ Trump sends investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama lauraklairmont 8 years ago Washington (CNN) – Self-proclaimed birther Donald Trump is now so doubtful of President Obama’s birthplace that he’s sent a team of his own investigators to Hawaii in hopes of getting to the bottom of the issue. That’s according to Trump himself, who, in an interview with NBC, warned his investigators just might uncover “one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond.” “I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re finding,” Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning. Asked if he has assigned people specifically to search in Hawaii, Trump said, “Absolutely.”
