And what may I ask, makes u think, that Trump would hand over some of those saved billions to you and your family? When he has expensive hookers to pay, people to bribe, fentanyl habit to fund?

I had a really good laugh at your list of heroes and mentors. Pity I had a mouthful of coffee at the time, but thanks anyway, made my morning.

I think u r probably as black as latter day Michael Jackson.

USA and Israel have historical security alignment which is as old as the modern day Israel. Ukraine does not have any such arrangement with the USA. So USA supporting Ukraine in its war is kind of abnormal. Europe funds Ukraine because Europe considers Russia a threat to themselves and they are happy if Ukraine is containing the Russian war. To be honest, Europe is not aligned with the new world order. Russia is not a threat to Europe if NATO is not intending to expand into former CIS states. Europe is failing in its diplomacy.

If you recall, a few years back we had this thing called the Cold War which really was a misnomer since it triggered a number of hot wars around the globe. The Cold War ended when the Soviet Union collapse and our bipolar view of the world became multipolar, allowing that other nations could have ambutions beyond those of the US or the CCCP.

Unfortunately for the West, Gorbachev's great efforts to democratize Russia led to Putin, from communism to fascism. Who seriously believes that those in power would give it up?

Anyway, the West quickly understood that Russia wasn't going to join the brotherhood of democratic nations and held on to NATO, and the US policy of active containment became covert.

Ukraine is the continuation of this long-standing US policy, as we discovered that the US had its hands on their popular revolution not long after the Ukrainian people voted for freedom from their Russian overlords.

No country has the right to do as it pleases, unless they have the capabilities of flaunting the rules. The US, Russia and China overtly flaunts those while many other nations do so covertly because they lack the capacity to raise their middle finger to the world's rule makers. Russia believes that nations bordering their land is their sphere of influence and thus gives them the right to decide what government can run these countries. The US does exactly the same. In Nicaragua, Reagan created the militarized Contras to remove their popularly elected socialist government. If a government gives itself the right to force a neighboring nation to run their country in whichever way they decide, do the people of the powerful nation have the ability to change their government's policies or elect a new government? In the US we can, while in Russia you cannot. But in either the propaganda machine works full time to convince their population of the righteousness of their actions.

The long standing Cold War policy of containment of now Russia is under threat from the Trump Administration, although it isn't clear what he wants to replace it with. Trump's affinity for Putin is clear while his dislike of Zelenskyy is even clearer, and he wants to end the war even it it means Russia wins all. It's probable that Trump is simply more interested in looking like the peacemaker for his MAGA supporters than he is about the fate of Ukrainians and Russians.

The architects of Trump's first administration where rabid ideologues, pro Russian and anti Chinese, hoping for a White alliance against China. In this administration, Musk seems to have convinced Trump that China isn't a threat to America and that we shouldn't care if the China Sea is China's or not, or if China invades Taiwan; it's their zone of influence. In the same way, we shouldn't support separatist movements around Russia regardless of their democratic aspirations, and we should let Russia have its sphere of influence and end costly wars.
Musk isn't a humanist or an idealist. He's a visionary willing to break things to make them better. Wars are bad, end them regardless of the consequences to people. Trump wants to leave his mark on the world and knows Musk can help him get there.

    I would like to add....

USA under Trump would occupy Canada and Greenland. They would control Panama by proxy. They would have a tacit understanding with Russia and China where Russia would subsume Ukraine and Belarus within itself and China would gobble up Taiwan and few other islands in the South China Sea.

You know how currently the rich are getting richer and the poor poorer....?
Well geopolitically the same is happening, large countries are getting larger, small are disappearing.
China gobbles Taiwan, then Philippines, Solomons, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Antarctica then look at NZ and Australia.

It's puzzling to me what Trump is trying to achieve because it doesn't seem to make much sense and I really don't believe there's a well thought out plan being played out.
For example, tariffs on aluminum against Canada and Europe obviously leads to more expensive Al in the US. Russia is the world's 3rd largest producer but they can't sell it on the market today, so it doesn't help them and both China and India are the largest producers and have neither need nor pass through interest in Russian Al. So what's the point?

NZ and Australia would be left for the USA but in a later phase. China would not touch them. Remember Quad?

Remember Quad? Sure I remember, I also remember Trump wants to walk out of NATO and the UN and Trump wants to fuck with Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Europe, Ukraine.
Trump decided Australia is included in his metals tariffs war.
Trump wants to lift tariffs off Russia and become mates with Putin.
Trump is a genius, a good looking pussy grabbing honest bloke.
