That was the point of him saying it really. Question is do you just buy the headlines or want the real truth behind it. There are already numerous minorities lending programs from the big banks down to the small ones. So the question is why is this suddenly different this time. Trump said he would create 500,000 new black owned businesses. Are you voting for the empty promise or do you see really how that can be done because the only thing a government can do is make financing easier to obtain for new businesses and SBA already has numerous programs for small minority owned businesses. Just don't swallow the headline and proclaim someone has your vote becuase he tickled the fun bag haha... The bigger issue is poverty in inner cities and isolated suburbs. What is needed is economic development through incentives. People don't want to build in the inner cities or rural poor areas because they are bad investments, unsafe and too expensive (inner cities). Instead of Trump saying he wants to protect the suburbs by keeping Black people out, it woudl be better to simply address the issues I mentioned above which would directly and indirectly affect large minority populations. It is funny how GOP criticizes Dem voters as waiting for handouts and Trumps announcement is throwing money at something with no plan or goals just fuzzy math. The solution is not that hard, Congress and Governors/Mayors just don't want to do it. So Trump nor any president on either side has no power unless they accept the real problems and remove the racism.
El OchoCinco, What other choice do I have? Have Biden offered us black people money to increase our wealth and land ownership? Blacks are the poorest in the country for decades. Forget the racism stuff, waste of time talking about that. America likes/enjoys racism, if they cared, they would have been banned it years ago. All I want to talk about is giving black people money or access to business credit and land ownership, etc. If Biden does not counter Trump offer of $500 Billion, myself and MANY MANY are easily voting for Trump. Easily.
Chumpie did the same thing here in Florida putting a offshore drilling moratorium into effect rent ... till he gets re-elected. And sending a couple of billions to Puerto Rico for new power infrastructure - attempting to buy more of the Latin vote. Did the same back in '16 in PA and WV claiming he would get all the coal miners back their jobs. Maybe 10% were reemployed later, probably none of which because of Chumpie's actions. Same with ALL those manufacturing jobs that ... didn't suddenly return to the U.S. Trumper Koolaid drinkers can't get enough.
