It's not even close and reeks of desperation... farcical really. Really, genuinely farcical. I don't even see what's so wrong w/ project 2025; it makes a lot of sense.
He's the Law and Order President when other people commit crimes , but when he does it then the system is corrupt and the judges and their families are a disgrace. 'Flat-out nuts': Conservative blasts Trump’s 'bananas' law and order rant The death penalty has been either abolished or suspended in most of Europe and Latin America, and parts of the U.S. have rejected it as well. Presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, however, is campaigning on not only maintaining the death penalty, but expanding it to include drug trafficking. During an early July campaign speech in Doral, Florida, Trump vowed, "We will institute the powerful death penalty for drug dealers…. And we will never allow mothers to watch their child hopelessly dying in their arms, screaming, 'What can I do? What can I do? Help me God, what can I do?'" In a column for the conservative website The Bulwark Thursday, Never Trumper Jonathan V. Last slams Trump's views and proposals as a recipe for "dictatorship." Last notes that Trump, who is facing three criminal indictments and was convicted of a fourth, repeatedly paints himself as a victim of the judicial system while claiming to be the "law and order" candidate. "Any part of the justice system which intersects with his behavior is corrupt and illegitimate — but this same justice system should be used to execute criminals who the maximum leader deems problematic," Last writes. "We have spent a great deal of time over the last two weeks talking about Joe Biden's cognitive abilities," Last writes. "Whatever you think of Biden, Trump is clearly compromised. This is flat-out nuts."
That's just politics as usual. Aren't you used to it yet? But... I'll give you an "A" for the effort to pivot off Biden's failing mental health.
OMG, that could make Trump look like Joan of Arc. He may even get canonized! The Dems have to take their drubbing like "big boys and girls" and focus on their rehab (IMHO, of course). What fascinates me most is just how the Dems put themselves in this kind of straight-jacket; fate I guess.
Trump is already turning on Republicans now that he knows most women do not want Rove v Wade and now he hates it that he is once again going to lose an election. He even claims he doesn't know anything about Project 2025 and who's behind it. He doesn't care about Conservatives. 'Reprehensible attack on God's word': Oklahoma Republican thrashes Trump's RNC platform Some Oklahoma Republicans are furious over Donald Trump's demand to remove what they view as Christian values from the Republican Party platform, and they're ready to fight. In a press release, Sen. Dusty Deevers lashed out at the platform's decisions to make Republicans more "electable" to non-Republicans, the Oklahoman reported. "The RNC platform committee’s decision to remove from the platform Christian values regarding abortion and marriage is a reprehensible attack on God’s word, pre-born children, and the Christians who have shed blood, sweat, and tears for the party because they believed it would fight for their values," said Deevers. "Nothing is done that is not before the face of God and He will hold accountable those responsible for conspiring to secularize the Republican Party." He was particularly angry about the removal of the "Christian definition of marriage" and a provision that has long been in the platform calling for a federal ban on reproductive freedom. “Contrary to the short-sighted calculations of establishment consultants in the Beltway who have given us nothing but perpetual failure, Republicans will not benefit from abandoning the moral values that make our party attractive to Christians," Deevers said. Deevers is one of many Republicans who are frustrated with the new turn of the GOP against decades of promises to strike down Roe v. Wade and stop marriage equality. Matt Smith of WISN12News Milwaukee caught up with Gail Ruzicka, a platform committee member from Utah, who was incensed with the move. "I've never seen this happen before. I don't understand why they did it, and I'm extremely disappointed that we do not have any pro-life language," she said about the GOP's new policy that rejects the federal ban on abortion. "They rolled us. That's what they did."
What polls are you watching? At this rate Trump is going to be carried in on everyone's shoulders. Get serious! There isn't a lot of time on the clock and your party is in the process of crashing and burning hard.... and you still want to demagogue?!?!?! WAKE THE FUCK UP! I've never seen a worse attempt at trolling in my whole life, LMFAO.
Lol, believe me I'm not a fan of Trump. There's a lot a lot a lot to dislike. In '16, not only did I think Hillary would win, I thought she deserved winning. But in the real world you need to be objective and make the best of a bad situation... just giving it my best. For example... I wasn't happy w/ Delta airline's report early this morning. Then I took a deep breath, exhaled... and look at me now The short puts are holding up. The koolaid I like drinking is green, gold, and silver... not orange
In a round about way you hit the nail on the head. When you push someone like me into the arms of Trump your message is fubar.
