Trumps appointees will be a huge joke just like they were his first term. Pure comedy really seeing his supporters be disappointed all over again.

  2. I personally know three employed people, ages 22, 26, and 50 who needed healthcare, two claims were on the job related and one filed a claim while covered by an employer's plan that was related to complications of sickle cell anemia. All three were systemically F**ked either in the care they needed or monetarily. By monetarily, I mean a life time of medical related debt for the 26 year old at her current and likely futures earnings capacity. The 50 year old was a former union President who knows the system, but they still tried to deny him rehabilitation. He ultimately was able to get what he was entitled to after a lengthy fight. The 22 year old may have permanent, possibly avoidable disability due to the lengthy time delay of rehabilitation. Further, she suffered a aggravated injury, apparently due to her delay in received appropriate care. Now that I'm thinking about it, I also know of a veteran, now a truck driver, who had a severe, on the job injury, but only received the "minimal" care, resulting in long term pain and suffering and risks of severe complications. He said he won a substantial lawsuit related to his deficient care. He said there was talk of seeking criminal charges against the seemingly belligerent parties involved.

Basically, the US insurance industry, from healthcare to homeowner's insurance, is a bait and switch scam, where victims pay a premium for X coverage, but are systemically short changed what they should be reasonably compensated when a valid claim is filed.

Relatively recently, there was a 60 Minutes segment on insurance scams upon homeowners after they filed claims related to hurricane damage. The 60 minute segment only named one insurance company, but said six insurance companies has similar consumer complaints as the highlighted on. I believe it is safe to say most or all of these six insurance companies are fortune 500 companies.

Any Administration that is sincerely in the working class's corner will seek to address the deficiencies of our healthcare system while also looking into property insurance company practices.

The aforementioned issues have been with us for a long time, spanning multiple Administrations, including, frankly, Trump's. Wasn't ACA created during the Obama Administration? I say let us make this a top issue and hold the feet of our politicians to the fire. Working class voters deserve political representation too, not just corporate political donors. So what is it going to be, spending Government money on bombs to blow things up or getting insurance to pay their obligations, with perhaps public funds making up the shortfall? Do we really need to look at nationalized healthcare or can related industry participants be encouraged to play nice?

theres a reason every developed nation and a few undeveloped nations have nationalized health insurance. Even some of the nations we give tons of foreign aid to do.

when Obama proposed steps to bring us closer to that, Republican funded Astro turf movements put the kabash on it. Further cutting of Obamacare made the program worse and I look forward to the concept of a plan that will fix healthcare. with a Republican led government at all branches, it should be easy.

Its more logical to expect a retirement over the four years from the 2 oldest justices.
What is appalling is to pressure a 70 year old judge with a chronic health condition to quit today
