180 of the countries on the face of the earth (out of 196 or so) have an official language. The U.S.A. is one of the few countries without an official language. It is long overdue that we made English our official language.
You truly are unhinged now. Nothing about Bloomberg is the least but political. It won't be long before you start blaming "lefty" alligators for the weak Florida economy.
A couple of years ago I was talking with a hispanic woman who was trying to get ready to pass her drivers license exam. Her English was get-by-able but not much more than that. I asked her why she didn't just take the exam in spanish. She said that the other hispanics all complain that they cannot understand the spanish interpretations on the state exam. The translations are so poor. Just shakin' my head. Your government in action.
North Carolina has something similar a few years ago with a state agency (not the DMV). The state hired an outside firm to translate instruction forms into Spanish (and other languages). The outside firm simply put the English text into Google translate and took the Spanish output. To say the least, the instructions in Spanish were not very understandable or correct.

It'll be soon. We just have to wait until they deviate from their "learn from the Hamas" strategy and venture out of their villas without their children in the car or surround their vehicles with a caravan of school-buses as they head out for breakfast. The labs... that's gonna take Mexican boots on the ground. But we'll give em the "pin" for their smart-phones.
