TRUMP 2.0 - The foreplay ends. The journey begins.

  1. CNN is either intentionally being disrespectful or in denial- the usual- over the election.

I am watching a report where they refer to JD Vance as "Trump's VP pick." Hello. He is not just Trump's VP pic at this point. He is the duly elected Vice President Elect. Elected by an electoral college and popular vote.

That would be like referring to Trump at this point as "The GOP Nominee." Nope. Sorry CNN but it has advanced beyond that just a smidge, eh?

Personally I think there is some problem accepting the results of the election over there at CNN.

Oh, and while I am here, I did not like Jake Tapper last week saying Trump "does not go on mainstream media, he just goes on Fox." That gets a Double Crock award. First of all, Trump goes on all sorts of media, all sorts. Second the notion that the network that gets the highest viewership is not being viewed by mainstream Americans shows how far into denial they are.

OH WAIT........NO SHIT..........I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. Right as that very news segment that I was bitching about and watching is rapping up, the host, Alison Camerata/sp, announces that after ten years she is leaving CNN (and says you can follow her on Instagram which apparently is the closest thing to job that she has now).

Heh. Crazy stuff. I complain about them collapsing, then she collapses while I am doing it. You guys can say I am nuts but I think god is listening to me. Hey Allison. You say I can follow you on Instagram, well, I tell ya what bitch, you can follow me on ET.

Trump SEC pick wants to ditch landmark climate disclosure rule

President-elect Donald Trump’s choice to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission has been a vocal critic of the financial regulator’s recent effort to require companies to disclose their risks from climate change.

Paul Atkins, a Republican whom President George W. Bush named to the SEC in 2002, is best known as an advocate for cryptocurrency since leaving the commission in 2008. He’s also assailed the SEC’s controversial climate-disclosure rule as a burden to corporate America.

Finalized in March under Biden SEC Chair Gary Gensler, the rule would require publicly traded companies to divulge details about the risks that climate change poses to their business. The SEC paused the rule in April amid lawsuits from Republican state attorneys general and a company led by Chris Wright, Trump’s pick for Energy secretary.

  4. Bloomberg reporting that Trump allegedly is going to ring the NYSE opening bell tomorrow.

Probably they will play YMCA and everyone will do the Trump dance too.

    I could be wrong.

You mean the markets that rallied hard under Biden but crashed during Trump's first term ?
LOL. That kind of killed Trump's rhetoric about how well markets do under his leadership.

  6. Of course, in your haste to score cheap political points, you've conveniently ignored a few minor details. Like, say, the unprecedented global pandemic that coincided with the end of Trump's term and sent shockwaves through markets worldwide?

But don't let pesky things like facts and context get in the way of your narrative. After all, why bother with a nuanced understanding of economics when you can simply shout "Biden good, Trump bad" and declare victory? It's certainly easier than, you know, actually engaging in a thoughtful discussion.

Truly, you've mastered the art of sophisticated debate.

Just like Trump failed to understand market cycles when he repeatedly took credit for market rises in term one. Only to see a pandemic that he helped exasperate kill markets. Please, try to keep up if you can. I hate to break it to you but I'm a far smarter better educated man than you will ever be. Know your place you aren't fooling anyone we already have "TreeFrogTrader" playing the role of fake intellect on this site :).

  8. It's always a delight to encounter someone who so effortlessly combines intellectual arrogance with a breathtaking misunderstanding of, well, pretty much everything.

You say Trump failed to understand market cycles, and I "fail to understand" the impact of a pandemic. It's truly touching that you're trying to use my argument against me. It's like watching a toddler try to wield a hammer – adorable, yet ultimately ineffective and likely to result in self-inflicted injury.

You're accusing Trump of not understanding market cycles while simultaneously attributing the market crash solely to a pandemic that he supposedly made worse. So, which is it? Do market cycles matter, or is everything Trump's fault, even global health crises? Perhaps you should consult a Magic 8-Ball for your next economic analysis. It might offer more consistency.

Did you mean "exacerbated" or were you trying to say that the pandemic was just really, really annoyed? It's these little details that truly elevate your discourse.

You certainly are trying hard at this but your ignorance is showing. Yes, several of those realities can exist at the same time, yet you seem to think they can't for some reason. Might be your inability to think critically about anything, and you just lash out with your emotions.
