It is just a part of the story, which makes it a lie. Nothing else is expected from the dirty libs. Educate yourself, please.

Things political often end up not what they promised to be. The Obama healthcare overhaul, as enacted and later modified by the Court to placate conservative objections, bears only resemblance to what was originally proposed. What is now is just as unsustainable as what was then; thus further change is as inevitable as the Sun rising in the East . Ultimately, whether 25 years or a century from now, it will be recognized that a square peg can not be forced into a round hole no matter how great the profit from trying. Either we are wrong or the rest of the world is. Both can't be right.

You mean like how they claimed overturning Roe V Wade was going to make abortion illegal, but there were record number of abortions in the following year.

A simple case of rhetoric not aligning with reality.

More than a million abortions were provided in the U.S. in 2023. That's a major finding from a report published Tuesday by the Guttmacher Institute, a research organization that supports access to abortion.

To be precise, researchers estimate there were 1,026,700 abortions in 2023. "That's the highest number in over a decade, [and] the first time there have been over a million abortions provided in the U.S. formal health care system since 2012," explains Isaac Maddow-Zimet, a data scientist with Guttmacher.

A million abortions a year isnt enough for Kamala. I wonder why she lost.

Sort of like someone claiming that throwing Trump off the ballot was Constitutional, but hey, who am I to judge?

  8. US retailers in November and December plan to import 350,000 TEUs more than they had expected a month ago as they rush to bring merchandise into the country ahead of a possible strike in January by East and Gulf coast dockworkers and billions of dollars in new tariffs proposed by President-elect Donald Trump.

They voted for Trump, now they need to own up to the aftermath -- including the U.S. economic demise, elimination of ACA, and the other direct pocketbook problems that will be caused by the incoming Trump administration.
