A lot of European leaders are corrupt. Wait till trade talks start and President Donald Trump starts imposing tariffs on European countries in retaliation for tariffs on US products. They will be howling and protesting then. China is already squeezing French Cognac and Italy with their luxury goods exports being heavily slapped with tariffs on sky high tariffs on Chinese EV cars coming into Europe. The Ukrainian war is also, draining Europe's coffers.
