The sooner, the better... Two-thirds of Canadians support use of Emergencies Act and want Freedom Convoy cleared out: poll https://nationalpost.com/news/polit...-act-and-want-freedom-convoy-cleared-out-poll
The Emergency Act was applicable only to Ottawa although many thought it was for all of Canada. What it did was allow police forces specially trained in riot control in other parts of Canada to come to Ottawa to remove the truckers and protesters from the red zone. I saw on CBCnews an entire line of Québec police officers slowly walking back many protesters out of the red zone. Then they escorted 3 trucks out of the red zone. wrbtrader
We all know there's no gasoline in that tank...just water in it while standing outside in the middle of the winter. Yet, the objective is to give the illusion of being threatening especially to those that are now police that may have served overseas in Afghanistan or somewhere else in the middle east. Hoping to trigger one of the police officers that had served in the Canadian armed forces. Also, to impede any possible arrests. This is a reality considering a few of the organizers have military backgrounds and they knew exactly what tactics, deceptions, and illusions they were going to deploy to impede or prevent arrests. The Freedom Convoy lost about 1/3 of their supporters when they were seen urinating and defecating beneath the War Memorial. That was my own WTF moment...remove the sick fucks. wrbtrader
They are protesting the rule that unvaccinated truck drivers have to quarantine for 2 weeks after entering Canada, which make zero sense whatsoever. All the OTR truckers live in their trucks, and day truckers are just like ordinary people in cars, but bigger vehicle.
It was changed to 5 days around mid-January. Now, as planned back in January...the federal government is leaving the mandates (if any remain) up to the employer...not the government. Truckers then moved the goal post and said they wanted the government to step down to allow the truckers to install their own government officials. Now where have we heard that before (hint: USA USA USA) ? wrbtrader
There's no liquid in it, period. A child that size cannot support 20 litres of water/gas on his body. They are not strong enough. It would weigh plus 30 pounds, which is nearly what the kid weighs. Edit. I learned my physics from the Brits. Smart fellows they do be.
Canadian Civil Liberties Association announces lawsuit over Trudeau's Emergencies Act On Thursday, The Canadian Civil Liberties Association formally challenged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's usage of Emergencies Act against the Canada truck protesters. They’re taking him to court for actions that "seriously infringes the Charter rights of Canadians." At a news conference by the association announcing their decision, they openly questioned if the current situation in Canada actually qualified as an immediate danger to the health and safety of its citizens https://thepostmillennial.com/canadian-civil-liberties-association-announces-lawsuit-over-trudeaus-emergencies-act
