Yeah, I agree that Canada's debt isn't much better. Pretty much the only western nation that has a low debt to GDP ratio is Australia. Trudeau is just spending a lot of $ to appeal to his electorate.
How about everywhere? I know you get most of your information in the world from the pub down the block, but try logging in once in a while and reading some financial news.
Really ?...how come 1/2 of Canada is in Vermont right now trying to get the most basic of medical care ?
Mostly likely Trudeau is referring to the size of debt. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_external_debt
Heh. if you grow up with Margaret Trudeau as your mother you have plenty of drama training at an early age. I think he was a ski instructor at Whistler for quite a while so he does have some other work experience. Of course, the trust fund keeps him peppy regardless of what he is or is not doing.
Baby Justin will support any extremist- doesnt have to muslim, could be Sikh- because that is multicultural- so how can that be bad? He never misses a chance to poke his finger in the Americans' eyes to point out how culturally superior he is to the rest of us. Meanwhile, he goes overseas and pokes his finger in their eyes too and comes out looking like a complete arse. https://edition.cnn.com/2018/02/22/asia/extremist-scandal-trudeau-india-visit-intl/index.html His father was the same way. Americans were accepting boatloads of refugees from Cubans who were fleeing an oppressive, murderous regime but we were all shit-bums in the eyes of Pierre who had a man-crush on Fidel beyond comprehension- his wife did too, maybe more than a crush. And - like father like son- when Fidel died, Baby Justin immediately starts acting like Jesus had left the building. Even the Canadians told him to knock it off for chrissake and develop some sense of history beyond what his parents taught him. How multicultural was his father when he rolled out the tanks in Montreal as a show of force against the Quebecois separatists?
You have a parliamentary system. Works as well or better than the U.S. System. Your Prime minister ends up being associated with majority vote, even though you did not vote directly for him. Not necessarily so in the U.S. , where the President is not necessarily associated with the majority vote. Canada is doing clearly better than the U.S. right now. Attribute that as you wish.
