Trump's popularity in Canada was measured at 13%, and it's likely gone down from that level since. Almost nobody in Canada likes Trump or even respects him as a human being. If we are going to talk about credibility, Scheer has done more to hurt his chances then Trudeau has. Scheer lied about his career, claiming to be performing a job that required 4 passed exams of which he only passed one ( he was in fact a clerk ). He also was deeply critical in the recent past of politicians in Canada who had dual citizenship, without disclosing his own dual citizenship. Neither Scheer nor Trudeau is a popular choice right now. However, people will vote for the party and local candidate not the leader in this election. But let's not pretend Trump is more popular then either. Trump is one of the least popular people on this planet in Canada. There might be a lot of Americans who believe in Trump, but that's not a good reflection on the state of the US these days.
Howz that little act pretending to be Canada's foremost advocate for women and indigenous people workin out for ya Prime Minister Tinkerbell? Jody Wilson-Raybould Is Justin Trudeau’s Worst Nightmare As Canadians head to the polls, the prime minister’s do-gooder image is in shambles. How much of a threat does the indigenous leader who disabled his political machine pose? Another nasty article from that right wing Fox News. Oh wait. I meant to say Slate. https://slate.com/news-and-politics...-trudeau-jody-wilson-raybould-disruption.html
Canadians are voting right as we speak. The most likely outcome is that Trudeau's party will lose its majority but Tinkerbell will hang on for a while as they try to form a government by sharing power with the other lefty party. That's probably the best he can hope for. And they may be able to form a coalition so that the parties can govern together but they still may choose someone other than Tinkerbell as Prime Minister. Probably it take a few weeks for that to play out because they have to jockey around based on the election results. Worst case scenario for Trudeau would be if the conservatives flat out won a majority. That's probably a stretch but we must admit that surprises do happen. Either way or anyway, Tinkerbell's halo has dimmed considerably. As the conservative ads repeated over and over about Trudeau: "NOT AS ADVERTISED"
Sorry, but forget Trudeau or even Trump. No one, and I mean no country has Canada beat on most infamous politician. I mean, Canada brought us Rob Ford.
