That is correct. Like @sprstpd said, the OP needs to contact the broker. I'm always surprised of people who come here before going to the broker for execution problems, what's the point?
Because calling my broker during a market crash, jamming up the phone lines and waiting on hold for 3 hours didn't really appeal to me when it was something that wasn't really important for an already executed trade. I just thought people on here might have experience with this kind of stuff happening. Obviously if I was in the middle of the trade, I wouldn't have come here for advice on what to do, I was just asking after the fact.
Why didn't you ask after the market crash or close? Who is your broker? With IB I can get through within minutes in normal circumstances. It's important to know why, even after the event.
