Once Renos.y trojan is deeply embedded into your system, the only solution may be to re-format the drive and re-install the OS and everything from scratch. If you have Renos.y on your system then the attacker has probably pulled down other unwanted software from a remote server and installed it (this may still unknown to you or your virus scanners) to turn your PC into a zombie to be used in DDOS attacks or a key stroke logger to get your personal information. This being said.... it may be good to look at the methodical spyware removal procedure found at: http://www.hingefirescreen.com/spyware_advice.htm - Greg
A note for those interested. I bought a Hotbrick load balancing box. I thought it was a hardware firewall, it is not. I failed the shields up test with it.
This software never seems to be mentioned, but it has cleaned garbage that SpyBot and AVG couldn't clean or find. SuperAntiSpyware I don't run it realtime, but have the free version to do periodic scans.
I run a suite of programs periodically, AV, Spybot, Widows Defender, and a couple of others, I have had a couple of items that none of my free programs would pick up, so I bought Spyware Doctor for $30.00. It has picked up what the others did not.
Post here (or send me a PM) the Trend Micro Hijack This logfile: Choose the option: "Do a system scan and save a log file" Lorenzo
