for my trading machine I wipe the hdd and do all the install without even being connected to the internet. [and I sure as f%^k don't have outlook on there] I verify the os by telephone... I disable all the shit that I don't want to start up, then I hook up the whitelisting firewall and configure it to allow urls for the broker and data services only, THEN I plug in the internet...
