NOPE---The best single indicator to use is price action.

Newbie will fall in love with many alluring mistresses, first TICK, then TRIN, then PREM (if you last that long) and finally discard them all.

 

I agree. The TRIN is rubbish. However the TICK can be of value for ultrascalpers

 

if you know what to do with it - its killer!

fyi i like the ticki and the tick too, prem dont care about much.

I couldn't agree more. Early on in my career I charted all these indicators along with the a/d line put/call ration etc. I still use a few of these popular indicators but in a different way than the TA book authors describe. Anyway price is the most important of all indicators. But then again if you are making money you already knew that.
