i have NOT done what he says and i have lost.

now i will do what he says and my results i will post here and i have linked my account in mql4 as proof.

You have great admiration for Brooks.

But have you decided on a drop-dead date?
After you have tried using Al Brooks for another X number of years,
and you still can't earn tons of money, you have
to destroy the book decisively, cleanse your mind,
and look for other solutions.

 

i do not know him personally.

but brooks does not teach his method, his agenda.

he teaches technical analysis .

TA is not wrong......

your application of it is wrong

TA is a vast field and brooks is covering most of it........you have to choose which part of it suits you. that is the difficult part.

 

i have faith in technical analysis.

all teachers teach it......or parts of it.

brooks deals with a huge part of it.....so i follow him......he only records TA in all his books......it is NOT his.

it is just convenient for me to refer to one book-brook's- to remind me of the basics of TA

 

@volpri was right when he said it is all about pull backs break outs ........

different teachers suggest different ways to deal with these and with the market.

no one person is right or wrong or a arse licker or a magician

wake up guys and figure out a way to make money

 

I agree. Honestly ,there's nothing new under the sun when it comes to trading. All these guys telling you to "seek other methods", wtf are they on? They are all probably doing the same shit that Brooks does just under different name; S&D, buying the dip, reversion trading, trend/momentum following etc. We all doing the same fucking things, but some are just delusional enough to think we got an "edge". We are all just trying to survive long enough until we can say we got out before most accounts "revert to the mean" eventually.

 

and that is why they all work.....

 

in the end it is the better manager that succeeds.

same as in the real world.....everyone has similar products but the success goes to the best manager of their business
