I am not worthy. Spoken like a true Zen Master. Padu, the Indian Bobby Axelrod. @padutrader Watch "Billions" on Showtime. It reminds me of you, Al Brooks, and your brilliant trading team. Obviously, this is @volpri I forgot that you need a performance coach/psychologist to take PADU CAPITAL OFFSHORE FUND, LTD. (Cayman Islands) to the next level. @Overnight is the missing member of your team. He has already had sessions with you via Skype.
As if I would be a good psychological coach to a guy who can't make piker sim money in FX. I'd tell him to get a job at Amazon. At least it would keep him away from one of those Indian call centers, who again yesterday tried to scam us out of money by using an electric bill overcharge as a catalyst. I fucking HATE those Indian call centers.
you seem to hate a lot of people .... lucky you do not look in the mirror.........you would hate yourself and THAT WOULD BE NO FUCKING SURPRISE IF I WERE YOU I TOO WOULD NOT LOOK AT A MIRROR...IT WOULD scare the hell out of me.
Why are folks on here railing on Padu? What difference does it make if he is showing some strategies on a sim? Just add 2 ticks and see if price makes it. One for entry and one for exit. For instance, to capture 4 ticks in the ES you generally got to have a total of a 6 tick move. 1 additional tick for entry and 1 for the exit. So, just watch any sim trade he makes and see if price would have given him the shown entry and exit, or not. Why are people railing on him about trading small account? If what he shows is true in a small account then it generally will work in a larger account. Trading a small account is his business only and not for any of us to rail about. He is trying to show how he trades some of brooks strategies. Does it matter if he does it on a sim or on a small account? Don’t be lazy. Test out what he says in your own damn account or your own SIM account! LOL I kinda of think the real issue is brook hate. If padu were showing something else would they rail on him? I will say this; most traders are too damn lazy and undisciplined to study and practice Brooks ideas and adapt themselves. It takes years to learn it and apply it. They will try it 6 months and declare it doesn't work. Or two or three years and declare it is BS. It takes way longer to really understand and apply what he teaches, coupled with adapting it to ones own personality and preferences. I think it was in 2010 I bought his first book Reading Price Charts Bar by Bar..The Technical Analysis of Price Action for The SERIOUS Trader (caps and bold mine). The concepts were so foreign to me and I remember laughing out loud at what appeared, at that time to me, to be double talk and nonsense. BUT I had a gut feeling that Brooks was the real deal even if I could not understand, at the time, what he was talking about. So, I was intrigued enough that when his trilogy came out I bought the first book and wrote the date inside. November 27, 2011. So my journey begins. Later I bought his other two books of the trilogy. I also bought his first video course and every upgrade to it. In addition, I bought the Best Trades Course. On top of that I bought the trilogy in digital form so I wouldn’t have to lug the heavy hardbacks with me when I travel internationally on flights. So I have been studying and applying and adapting Brooks concepts since 2010. Therefore, anyone that tells me his concepts are BS I know they never endured to wade through it. They just too lazy, undisciplined, or unable cognitively to understand and apply the concepts or have psychological problems in trading. There is no treatise ANYWHERE on planet earth that I am aware of that so completely and thoroughly deals with PA as Brooks does. His works are “the” par excellence of PA teaching and training, IMO. Padu has clearly indicated he is still learning from Brooks and is still learning how to apply Brooks concepts. So, why don’t you guys back off and let him show his experiences in learning and trading without such constant railing and cutting down and provoking him even with racial implications. You guys might even learn something useful! There I said my peace. I can deal with the humor that some throw out there and laugh along with you but the railing is uncalled for. Leave the man in peace. PS here we are in 2021 and I am STILL learning from Brooks and learning how to apply his techniques in ways that fit my personality and preferences for trading. Count the years. 2010 to 2021.
Brooks is rather amazing. Despite not being able to write a simple sentence in his native tongue, and despite lack of any evidence he was able to practice successfully what he would later teach, he nevertheless has found a way to cash in on the trading of stocks... Quite an accomplishment I would say.
I'd prefer it if people stay civil and treat each other with respect and am very much not up to speed on this thread, but I do seem to recall that Padu acted or spoke as if he was finally successful after 10 years of hard studies and credited Brooks for it. Then shortly after it's revealed that he's indeed not making much money at all. I think some people are agitated by that, but I would agree that it's silly to become emotional about it. No doubt true, but this could pretty much be said about everything. I could also write a book and if people ain't making money from it I could blame them for not putting in the work and being lazy. Plenty of authors in this business. It could also be that someone actually is hard working, puts down the work and find that it's not worthwhile in the end. That's often how good scientists work. A big part of the work involves chasing dead ends. Since you're a proponent of Al, then, and seem to recommend people to study him. What kind of results are you getting from using his methods? If you don't want to share, that's fine. But I think for anyone making recommendations like you're doing it would be nice to know if you're actually making good money from said methods.
1) Yes he is quite amazing. You nailed that one. Congradulations! 2) Yes, it did take me awhile to grasp his way of expressing his thoughts, but then again, I am not the sharpest tool in the tool box. 3) Could it be the practicing successfully or not is strictly an assumption on your part. Providing evidence is his prerogative and his alone. Just do the testing your own self on Sim if you can invest the time after studying and practicing for a few years. 4) Yes, his works are quite an accomplishment. And they are so cheap especially since they offer so much useful information. I seriously doubt he needs the money from any sales.
