Treyvon Martin issue is starting to irritate the hell out of me

  1. Part of the reason, you fool? Yeah, that's the problem with every homicide case... the victim can't testify. What a racket!

  2. My mind was made up way back in 2012 because all the evidence coming out pointed away from "wanton disregard of human life", "malice/hatred", etc to basic self-defense.

When Prosecutors presented the charging affidavit which had nothing at all , and which was widely ridiculed by peopled like Dershowitz, I knew they had nothing. When they said they will do their talking in the courtroom, I knew they were full of shit. When opening statements came and went, everything I thought about this case was reconfirmed. Time and time again, prosecution was short on details and long on emotion.

Even according to a tactless, semi-literate whale of a person coached by Mr. Crump (aka Trayvon's "friend"), Zimmerman did not walk up to Trayvon and say "hey nigger, get out of my neighborhood or I will shoot you in the face". He asked him what he was doing there. They were burglaries in the area and Trayvon was not using the main entrance but walking suspiciously.

There are physical injuries consistent with being punched in the face, an eye witness that was not impeached in any way putting trayvon on top and zimmerman screaming for help. It only makes sense if Zimmerman screamed for help since Trayvon has no injuries to his face (Zimmerman was clearly losing the fight). There is a good delay between screams for help and the gunshot, which means Zimmerman was quite patient (wanton disregard for human life goes out the window). Trayvon not having Zimmerman DNA on his fists does not mean much since it was raining heavily and proper evidentiary protocols could have been not followed.

The case is as simple as it can be. A future thug picked up a fight but forgot to take into account that people can carry guns on them. If Trayvon was scared of Zimmerman he would have went to his house (he had plenty of time), hid, or called 911 (or a combination of those things) he did neither. That tells you he was not afraid of Zimmerman.

I am a democrat and I don't like people in my party to be wrong but this case is a classic example of liberal delusion. No amount of wishful thinking can turn this into a racial profiling case. This is Duke Lacrosse on steroids. Nifong is an angel compared to Angela Corey.

Nobody knows that. Well, God and Zimmerman know, but God won't say and Zimmerman will lie to protect himself regardless.

  5. I would be inclined to believe Zimmerman is a murderer if Trayvon had a gun shot to the back of the head instead of to the chest with Zimmerman suffering extensive injuries.

The guy did the job cops are too scared to do because of pc illness in America. He's on trial simply because the bad guy was black. This case is the epitome of self defense, and the FL stand your ground law. If he's convicted, maybe the cops and white people will riot in the streets over this racism? Lol! I know, won't ever happen as common sense people don't behave like zoo animals...

  7. Some people think with emotions instead of logic or law. It is hard for them to imagine how a 28-29 year old man can justifiably kill a teenager.

The media has purposely shown Treyvon's pictures as a kid instead of what he looked like at the time of the shooting back when the whole thing got started. People thought some kind of an animal hunted down a little kid instead of some one close to 6 feet (over 6 feet with shoes on)

I just listened to the testimony of a cop who interviewed Zimmerman like an hour after the shooting at the police station. Zimmerman says he screamed for help and someone came out and saw him scream for help but did not help him (Subsequently turned out to be John Good). Bear in mind, he had no counsel and no time to "make up" a story. The cop asked him what was suspicious about Trayvon he said he(trayvon) was someone he has never seen before walking casually while it was raining.

People, unless they are legendary spies with nerves of steel can't concoct an elaborate story so quickly after the fact.

When Treyvon's father first listened to the 911 call he said it was not his son but subsequently changed his story (no doubt under influence of Mr. Crump)

Reading your text is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Whenever ANYONE carries a gun, it's always "ready to go". Chump! What good would carrying a weapon be if you had to take 5 minutes to get it primed or something?

    Go kill yourself.

I'm hoping the jury does the right thing after being presented with the FACTUAL evidence in the case. I hope they are not swayed by fear of social unrest.

One thing that bothers me is the reports of threats of violence being reported if Zimmerman is found not guilty. Anyone making such threats as "I'm going to shoot the first white person I see if he goes free" should be arrested for making terrorist threats.

I am not personally worried about these threats but I am concerned about relatives.

They'll never arrest a black man for saying he'll kill the first white person he sees, but they'll put a 3rd grader in lockup when he fashions a gun-looking object from a stick on the playground.
