"Now last night I look out the back window and see another neighbor woman (about 55yo) is at another house (not hers) walking around peeking in all the windows while they aren't home.....WTF is it with these people! "

Children of the corn, get out while you still can!

  2. N.C. took a lot of getting used to when I lived there. The constant references to 'northerners' was the #1 annoyance. The second annoying reference was 'northerners' and their bad driving. (Yet the guy next to you at the stop light wants to race because you are in a V12.)

Nothing you have said seems surprising to me based on what I observed about life there and nutty neighbors.

If you are not already in the better part of town, it is time to move. And if you are, it is time to upgrade.

I'm so used to nutty people. They are everywhere it seems. Two out of a hundred are truly psychopathic. Learn to know which ones those are, the rest aren't nearly as dangerous, by orders of magnitudes. Psychopaths only respect strength, it's good to just show some strength to them if you are setting boundaries. Most of the rest of people can be reasoned with to respect boundaries.

Learn what you won't tolerate, etc.. I can't stand people that monologue with me, if they don't allow me to talk I get very pushy with them and refuse to have anything to do with them until they learn some conversational manners. If it takes a cell call to the PD to set boundaries, so be it. You can call 911 and ask for a State Trooper if you are being bullied by a local cop actually. A friend did just that and it worked out fine eventually.

  4. I'd have these people tresspassed off your property. The way it works in many places is you call and make a complaint. The cops go see the ladies who admit to having been on your property. The cops issue them a stay away order. If they come on your property after that and the cops see them on your property, or if you get a picture of them on your property, they get arrested. Just having the stay away order issued should cure the problem. If they have a problem with how you treat your dog, they need to call animal control, not be vigilantes.

  5. I talked to a city officer in the gym tonight about the situation and he cracked up when I said it was the judges wife. He said they are crazy animal rights activists so confronting him about his wife probably wouldn't do any good. He said just call the station and ask to speak with a supervisor since it deals with someone higher up in the city. He said if I find out their address and can tell them the time and their names and everything that they will go knock on their door and warn them and if it happens again they can arrest them or put out a warrant. He said if I'm mad enough to press charges they could go ahead and charge them with criminal trespassing if I wanted to.

His advice was put a big no trespassing sign up and to file a report also. Then he said go stand in there yard and yell at them and see how they feel about it lol
