  1. You forgot the 4 hours and 32 seconds...

True, selected groups like the one you probably belong to will need a lot more time to comprehend anything...

Just look around you and realize the limitations. Go around ask people who even got a college degree and see how many can solve this little problem:

2 workers dig 2 holes in 2 days. How many holes 10 workers dig in 10 days?

You will be surprised how many will not be able to get the right answer, even people with masters degrees.

So instead of being ironic, face your limitations in terms of pattern recognition abilitties and math processing capabilities.

Most people fail to solve trivial problems and you expect them to learn TA in 57 years? They never will..Instead of facing their limitations, they will go around trying to refute it. It is human nature...

  2. oh, you weren't jocking with that 7 years. Sorry, my previous post was sarcastic.:)

I'm not trying to start a debate here but, those who posted here and really don't want to have any doubts about their trend lines(and say that they offer a real edge) and so one... ..., ask yourself a question: "I'm profitable?" and be honest with you. If the answer is yes, congratz. ps: please don't respond, just ask for you this question, it's not my business to know your answer. And here is a nice one: if you find yourself into a hole, stop digging.

    All the best.:) I'm out.

  5. That post was from Visaria. Are you the same posters?

    Obviously you are not...

Ask youself, how long it will take you to master a difficult foreign language so you can have an intelligent conversation with someone who is native?

Think of the market as a foreign place and you are a newcomer trying to learn the language. How long do you think it will take you? I know people who moved to Russia for example and after 20 years they still cannot understand everything and speak correctly. It depends on the difficulty of the language of the market. TA is a difficult language. You have to practice daily and for many years to learn it. It is a long road ahead and just a few make it to the end...I am half way IMO...

  6. bill, I was referring to your post "It takes the average person more than 7 years to become..."

And yes, I'm profitable(but it's ok if you think the otherwise, again, it's not my business to make you think something.) actually I'm building my track record for a few private investors. So I don't have any problem in regard with responsibility and emotional part of the trading. I already passed over this phase.
My only problem is that my standard annualized volatility is a little bit high right now but I will get it lower.

btw bill, I hope that you didn't understood me wrong, I don't have anything with you or any one else here, I just wanted to pass a few ideas here, but it seems that nobody is interested and even more, almost everyone jump at my neck like I did something bad. So, I will Stop here.

And I'm not Visaria. That would be funny, creating two user names to post here. Actually I have other things to do, so I don't have time to post too frequently and rise my numbers of posts.

    All the best.
