Nah, still some good trends out there. Broadly the best trends in the last 12 months have been: - collapse in equity vol and rise in equities; until June - collapse in oil price (until December) - mammoth out performance of dollar, especially versus Euro. (this quarter) - rally in european bonds (DB, I bet this is the straightest line you've ever seen)

Trends for funds are not the same as trends for intraday traders. They have to invest volume. The trends must be robust and long lasting. Some funds have recovered but there are questions as to whether this will last. Market must trend in order for trader to make money. I will not address this again. This is idiotic to deny that trends exist. Only a fool would believe that trends do not exist.
