What about Special Relativity? Aren't the still working on proving that it is true? I read somewhere that they just found out that Einstein's concept of "gravity" was correct. There is no gravitational force, but actually the bending of space, or something like that. Again, I am no expert.
But, after the second loss in chop, it should be self evident that consolidation is what is on the table. Widen the timeframe. Or, develop a mean reversion strat that will signal when price is far enuf away from the mean to indicate the possibility of a nascent trend.
There are profitable trend trading, counter trend trading and reversion to the mean strategies. Many ways to skin the cat, be open minded. Crazy A
No, it was proven true a century ago. They've been confirming Einstein's theory of gravity (aka General Relativity) with experimental evidence since the solar eclipse of May 1919. Wikipedia does a pretty good job of covering Relativity, both the special case (SR) and the general case (GR), at a layman's level. I studied SR in freshman college physics; all you need is a semester of differential calculus to understand it. GR is an entirely different animal. To really understand it, you need to know tensor calculus, a mathematical monstrosity that most science and engineering majors don't require acquaintance with.
Again, you talk about things you don't have a clue. Remember the famous E=mc2? Do you have any idea how much energy can be created from tiny tiny amounts of mass? speed of light to the power of 2 is hell a LOT!
LOL! Yes, I fully understand what E = MC² has to do with ordinary nuclear reactions: fission, fusion, matter-antimatter collisions. I fail to see the "straight line" from E = MC² to "cold" fusion. You're like a cargo cultist. You think that if you build the fake airstrip and the fake "control tower" that cargo planes full of goodies will start landing near your house. LOL!!
you see kut, this is precisely why most people will never understand such simple stuff like trend following. or look at all these obese folks.... jesus, just eat foods which contain the most water and vitamins and move your ass! no, they prefer to buy 50th book "how to lose weight". its terribly funny to see very few trend followers make huge money, while 95% others trade against the trends with no stop losses. there's more: losers will fund the account for the 6th time and bankrupt again making the same mistakes. and even those who want to apply trend following don't have any idea how to do it. as demonstrated in this thread... traders want "no-lag" methods. Rrrrright. methods which will never lose in consolidation periods. remember LTCM? nobel prize winners, professors. folks who are super wise at math or physics. What they did in trading? Applied the most crappy, crazy, delusional, stupid, clueless strategies on earth.
and, by the way, even DARPA admits cold fusion produces energy "60 MINUTES obtained an internal document from the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency, known as DARPA, which according to the broadcast, “concludes that there is ‘no doubt that anomalous excess heat is produced in these experiments’”. http://www.1888pressrelease.com/-co...energetics-technologies-update-pr-118913.html i'm not surprised at all that you don't see the difference between cold fusion and perpetuum mobile. stocks manager asked about futures trading responded: "yeah, no i don't want to use them, because you know, futures are risky" your remarks are exactly of the same quality.
Cold fusion: 22+ years in the laboratory womb and still waiting to be born. LMAO!! Good thing those clowns weren't in charge of the Manhattan Project.
