Lest we forget: Have you faced Maestro's trading room, bowed down and repeated this 25 times yet? Really, if you had an ounce of humility you'd have left the thread after making these grandiose claims and not being able to provide a shred of evidence. None. Nada. Since Maestro can't get the trend definition he wants, and since no one can prove their systems (Covel), software (Maestro) or alchemy (Hershey), this thread should end. Oh, and no need to cite a link or quote something in another language to try to sound smart. You don't need another epic failure. abi igitur!
The objective of this thread is for people who have read my books (or are reading or will read soon) to engage over that content. If some want to gripe about other subjects, declare they are moving on, lament that I don't show proper respect for the mentally deranged, etc. -- go for it. I will continue to add trend following material over time. P.S. Would like to see Dr. Phi/Star Wars point out the inaccuracies across 4 books. Waiting.
There seems to be some pyschological factor at play, too. If you're a known expert or "vendor" who writes books, goes on CNBC occasionally, etc, you're immediately distrusted. The same is true of vendors who use normal (or aggressive) internet marketing techniques. I agree most of these experts/vendors are worthless. However, they seem to be lumped together and written off here as a whole without even examining their track records (if they have one). However, if you're a regular at ET and self-proclaimed guru, you command a lot more respect. It makes no difference if your strategies are bizzare and indecipherable. Nor does it matter if you never show audited performance reports or make a statistically-significant number of live trades. You'll find many true believers who are determined that your strategies "work." They'll always find some anecdotal evidence. ("The Crypto-Fractal Discombobulator gave a great signal six weeks ago on a 3-minute Soybean chart. This stuff is incredible!") What's more, some of these ET "experts" sell their own wares (books, chat rooms, seminars), but do it quietly.
Welcome back marketsurfer. I didn't realize Baron actually banned you -- I thought you left voluntarily. I see you could not give up your habit of spawning sock puppets. Very noble stuff sir.
Do you remember what I told you about "acting with integrity" when you were first allowed back into ET as marketsurfer (notwithstanding the hundreds of sock puppets you created)? I see you haven't learned from your own behavior. You don't seem to recognize the pattern with your bannings actually resides within you, not other people. Keep in mind that your presence in this thread does not help Covel -- it will rapidly send it further downhill. It would be in his best interest as a salesman, trying to market to traders, to reign you in. I won't reply any further here, as I know this will also end up in disaster.
Meaning rein you in? ... Might want to have a native English speaker check your material before you post. Here's what reign means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reign
I highly recommend people read as much free material about the 'Turtles' as possible, then when done with that exercise my book The Complete TurtleTrader will actually tell what happened--not just the myths that propagate among the anonymous. There were winners and losers and it helps greatly to know how it all unfolded--if you actually want to learn lessons from the experiment.
