1. If that is indeed the case, then I look forward to reading it.

  2. Really? So anything other than content in the the form of a journal has no value? Then where is your journal? And if you are not adding value, by your own standard, because you have no journal, then why are you here? Aside from oiling marketsurfer's machine, of course, as noted earlier in this thread.

  3. I've posted tons of good content to ET, on subjects where I have significant domain experience. Search and read if you have time to kill. What I don't do is barnacle onto someone else's journal and post 10 flames a day.

  4. Oh, so you don't have a journal, which is the standard that you have set for me but not for yourself. How delightful. Any other hedged positions you'd like to share with us?

As an aside, I take umbrage at your characterizing my posts as flames. I prefer to regard them as helpful lanterns directed at those who are demonstrably operating in the dark. If you look beyond the glow, you will find content in those posts.

  6. Sorry, but you're the one with the dance shoes who sidestepped the substance of this exchange in its entirety for no other reason than to get a jab in. What was that about flaming?

So the Market Wizard interviewees had nothing to sell?

  8. hahaha, correct. LBR is a classic vendor. Gabby really should stick to things he knows like the dewey decimal system prior to commenting.

  9. Aside from the last chapters of each book dedicated to the psychology of trading, which featured psych gurus who are available for a fee (and none of which I found useful or informative), I don't think the MW interviewees were selling anything to readers who were looking to enhance their own trading or at least satisfy their curiosity with some general insight from noted traders. When buying a book, I don't care to pay for someone else's advertising. And if they are vendors, then you can be sure they're advertising. Again, that's fine. I just don't want to pay for it.

  10. Was she a vendor at the time of the MW interview? Or did she become one after the second MW book had made her something of a celebrity in the trading subculture? Let's synchronize our chronologies, shall we?
