Are you referring to Curtis Faith? For those who do want to know the complete Turtle story, there is a source.

Wow, I recall you selling your trendfollowing course for a $1000 many years ago. Now you're selling it for nearly $3k! Who says there's no inflation???!!! Anyway, I was smart and obtained the system written by the most successful turtle, Curtis Faith, for...absolutely nothing (well, ok, a small donation to a charity). Probably still freely available on the web, no idea why anyone would want to spend $3k (!) on this.
Absolutely, my firm has been supplying trend following research/access to clients for nearly 15 years. No apologies there. Also, you may want to pull out of the Rip Van Winkle slumber as your memory of Faith (including his firm being permanently barred by the government) is faulty. No need to rehash his past and current details as those proficient with Google can learn the true story pretty quick.
Whatever one's view of Mr Covel's strategies and techniques, he's due gratitude and respect for his sponsorship of the site. The sponsors make the site possible for everyone. And I admire his forthrightness about the products and services he's vending. Not everyone lurking on the site is willing to come out of the closet as a vendor -- let alone pay the sponsorship fee.
People are welcome to believe what they want. My research and insights have been gleaned first hand from some of the top trading teachers around. To the observant about the trend following space -- it's always been that way -- learning from others. People can take advantage of that or not.
Are the percentages in ( ) daily, weekly or monthly?? And is the "Global Stocks" really just the fanancial indexes, exclusively?? This stuff seems more closely related to "no loss insurance" type passive investing returns. Is the "trend follower" you quote in the insurance industry (which is tunning @ 50 to 70% annually at thistime)??
Another and more effective and efficient space is trend monitoring and ananlysis which eliminated the "reaction" and lagging orientation of the relatively passe "trend following. Most effective and efficient aspect of trend monitoring and analysis turns out to be "anticipation" as a consequence of examining the more reliable "order of events". For those interested you can google "order of events" and "leading indicators". One deals with the deductive theory and the other deals with "tooling", respectively. Tooling up leading indicators of price has not been heavily exploited at this point, however. I suppose, mostly, it is because of the misconception that price leads volume rather than vice versa. In another thread the question was raised on how the fact that volume leads price wa deduced. I commented there, at that time. This isn't my thread and I am reluctant contribute more often. there is the issue of hijacking threads and the OP has had my posts removed from his threads previously.
