Are these forums read by folks still, or is it just a place for this loser Proflogic to scream and threaten the world. It is very weird to say the least.

  2. If no one reads them why are you here?
You started the name calling and now you are chastising me?
Your ad hominem antics were expected.
Yes this is a weird place and you're it's jester!

Do most of the fund managers you interview use static or non-static portfolios?? And if its the latter how do they select the portfolio at the time??

    Thanks

    No static.

Many issues go into portfolio selection and there is no one size fits all. Correlation considerations and 'trendiness' measures (which are defined differently across the board) are mission critical. Further, having enough markets in a tracking portfolio is critical -- which keeps you in the game when the next unexpected move unfolds.

Could you elaborate on the definition of markets??
Another question I have is how many of them are trading on international exchanges for instance BOVESPA, or LSE etc?? Some commodities that are not present in USA trade on overseas exchanges and have sufficient volume.. (of course this would imply they hedge their positions with the currency pair of that country)..

Thanks Mr. Covel, I appreciate your quick responses.

  6. Mr Covel doesn't have a personal account? Can he confirm that?

I'm participating in the conversation -- I'm not threatening people, or whining to the mods or to Baron...

A liquid market on a regulated exchange. Futures, ETFs, LEAPs, etc.

  9. :D Sez who, you? Aren't you the guy that a REAL Turtle totally discredited?:D

I have read the expose tell all book about the turtles that you wrote.. It reads like a national enquirer for traders, but it is a good read for entertainment. Why are you even here other than to sell stuff?:D

You have not posted one chart, made one analysis, discussed any method that YOU actually use.

But, that is not what is sad. What is sad is that a once excellent trader has reduced himself to following you. Surf, man, what the hell happened?????

  10. And by the way, Connie Brown has white papers and books that have been critically peer reviewed. How about YOU?:D
