Would you say squaring price and time is new age stuff as well or rigorously grounded on quantitative ideas? Last time I checked it was the highly controversial Gann who originated squaring of price and time as a trading method

  2. mind,

intrinsically, it tells nothing. however, there 'appears' to be one or more very very large operators who trigger trades based on this same data --hence the "workability of the system" there is no magic here.

  3. I'm not wasting my time going through those. Look for Market Logic with a Flow Chart. I'm spending the next couple weeks in Asia and it's bed time.

  4. sure its new agey stuff, however, see the above post.

there are "others" who believe and that's all it takes.

    1) I may know a thing or two more about flow charting than you'll ever know.

    2) Who says that no-one has flow charted his trading rules?

    3) There have been enough cases that prove that you cannot patent a formula or a flowchart. Yes they may grant it to you (in their stupidity and laziness to properly investigate the claim) but validity is another matter. There have been enough cases of a logic method being copied (or formula) and that the courts threw it out when it came down to the final showdown. And since when gives anyone in Russia or China a hoot about US patents?

It may be worthwhile to remember Tao te Ching, tetragram 56:

Those who know do not speak
Those who speak do not know
    Block the passages
    Close the door
    Blunt the sharpness
    Untie the tangles
    Harmonize with the brightness
Identify with the way of the world

    Have a nice day.

  10. Ok Sherlock . . . I ask & you assume.

Please inform this ignorant child of life on the teachings of others that have flow charted their research.

I for one understand your reasoning regarding what you assume you think I have accomplished but in reality am comfortable in knowing exactly what was accomplished. Knowing is always more satisfying then assuming. There are exceptions to everything . . . You assume a lot. You assume I haven't done my due diligence either from a legal or research standpoint. You assume I am the "typical" ETer. Evidently, you where never taught the meaning of the word assume . . . It makes an ASS out of U & ME! Never assume what you do not know for absolutely sure!

Yes the Chinese and Russians are the primary intellectual property thieves in the world though others are tempted as well.

"Many hear the words of wisdom but never open their minds to it's content." We could do this all day.
