  1. The process of the learner is complex.

He fills in IAS sheets using a sorted selection from 15,000 stocks. The sorting is based on quality of stock data. See CANSLIM now that it has been invented.

he has to print and annotate a daily chart to get the Initial analysis data.

the results are added to a Universe.

the universe yields a batting order in approximately 7 and 1/2 minute by a person doing it the first time.

It is tough and it takes guts to use the four stream batting order each week.

  2. here is a graphic of the EQ/IQ process by which people either succeed or fail.
selfselecting poeple who are mentored or who work purposefully usually do not fail.

failure is common in learning to trade. Et has abundant examples.

If you are headed for failure this chart will serve as a diagnostic for you.

  3. as anyone can check out by reading my recent posts this back test turned out the way it did by deviating from the PVT approach. If a person makes up his own back test for something he gets the results of his work and not the results of people who are using PVT.

we have been copious of our rebuttal in the past and our rebuttal speaks for itself.

furthermore and for the humor of it, this person has not tested the one pager I posted today on how to use volume signals on a sorted Universe to time the market.

that sheet was verified by a sample of 400K events.

Ir is the nature of ET and its moderators to let stand what has been posted regarding T666's backtest. It is a great great example of what can hweppen to public trading methodologies of any sort.

Please do not use a time out for trading almost any method or approach. If you do you may get the same type of statisitcally insignificant results this graphic represents for an unknown and unverifiedseries of trades.

In terms of statistical results this result is something Mr Green or any high school student taking stats would have a good laugh about.

  4. I have been scheduled on a local NY TV station several times. thy have studios in NJ across the river. WNBC was its name. I rescheduled several times for various reason then as the show unfolded I cancelled. The show was cancelled soon after.

Can you think of any reason you or I would want to appear on a radio show??

  5. Actually Jack... your rebuttal was to say that I should have run the backtest on a prescreened "universe" of stocks... which was NOT EVEN MENTIONED in your paper (attached) which I used as the basis of my backtest.

Pretty bold title (Catch Up With Tomorrow's Paper Today)... one would think from the title alone that the content would be able to stand on its own... so if using a prescreened "universe" is so important, why wasn't it in your paper?

  6. My apologies.
At least you admit to be a lying unintelligent hack then.

  7. Sure, National exposure, paying it forward, challenge. I can't think of a reason why a promoter wouldn't want to be on the show. This is the big time, National with a huge audience who would likely enjoy listening to your market ideas, etc.

  8. Accepted. I heard Surfer bought some of his crap at the auction, not sure if he was able to resell it or if its on the wall in his pool room at the country house.

16 How much did Dave Goodboy, a New York hedge-funder, pay at auction for the ring buoy from Bull, Bernard Madoff’s yacht, which had a list price of $160?

17 The lack of what amenity prompted Allen Stanford, the accused fraudster, to ask to be moved from Texas’s Joe Corley Detention Facility to a different jail while awaiting trial?

18 General Motors completed its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in July. It was the fourth-largest bankruptcy in history, with assets of $91,047,000,000. Name and price any one of the three bigger.

  9. OK, let me get this straight...

You should be allowed to post obviously phony claims like this on a trading website teeming with newbies... but a valid backtest of buying YOUR "0 to 7 turn" should be censored?

I do reach my goal of 3x H-L in ES as a practice.

Why not take me up on my offer? Trade ES for a day and let Green audit it and provide proof of what you can do for all to see. As I said I'll even pay for the audit.

One would think you'd jump at the chance... that is, if you're all you claim you are.

  10. Wrong again Jack!

I tested one of my entry methods under the exact same conditions and parameters I used for testing your "method" -- 5 day exits, same stocks, same time period, NO prescreened "universe," same transaction fees, etc., and got this equity curve.
