  3. It is no wonder you could never make it as a respected journalist. You can't state facts to save your life.

My auto labeling program labels oscillations in real time, as they occur, it doesn't draw lines.

  4. As they occur??? Of course, not before they occur, as that would impossible!

What good is labeling something as it occurs or after depending on your verbiage and pov??

    Silly !

  5. Only you would expect to execute a trade before it triggers . . . idiot.

I can hear it now . . . Dave Goodboy, "I wanted to buy IBM so I called my broker and told him to execute the trade yesterday".

You call me siily? You are an ignorant ass.

Marketsurfer, I here Anna calling to do her bidding, no . . . that was Neiderhoffer . . . no Taleb . . . no wait . . . they all want their mindless bitch to do their bidding.

Arguing with you is still like arguing with a special mental olympics participant.

  6. SE

Lines are drawn in advance of the trade. Advance means before. In the case of the expert doing 20 to 40 trades a day the drawing is done 5 to 10 minutes before.

Here is some humor for you. It goes back a ways. At that time 10 items were exchanged to get a trade on the floor. It was before the mini's

What was I doing with a rotary phone at that time?

I had not said specifically but the trades under discussion wwre being detailed out.

At that time a trader needed to ID his trade by the ID # assigned to it.

Any person trading the right side of the market had to do C & R's a part of trading. Ask some of your old time friends how they called in C &R's.

    Here is the joke.

The person said to me...."Hey I know what you were doing with the phone!!!!!.. Then me told me and we both had a laugh.

I siad "not to worry..... if I wsn't doing that they would have called me because they are coattailing other cards and they would be getting incomings from those people too"

So what is the detail that passes you by on the fact that the lines are drawn ahead of every trade?

You have been reading the instructions for over 10 years and still do not get it.

You are mentally bocked and just ignorant and stupid.

The joke was in a context of a "Greenspan". it is an old unit of evaluation that occurred three times each FOMC announcement. It was 150 points on the DJx.x this day was a double Greenspan day meaning three trades of 300 points each. This is a net of 900 points over four phone calls each having 10 items of substantive content.

Hello is one of them. It establishses the line is working, etc.... lol

The pre drawn lines would, in this case each be over 20 minutes long.
think ruler and crayolas. Think fifth grader doing it perfectly.

"WTF is going on?" could be what your mind might conjer up. It does not though. It cannot.

You can't conceive of the fact that ALWAYS the lines are drawn BEFORE the TRADE.

On FOMC days there are always three sets of lines at and after the news. They are containers of future price regions all drawn in advance set by set.

Price is making its way up or down the DOM. No not quite there was no DOM at that time.

The tape is certainly being read however. Charting is hand done in many crayola colors.

On the bar to be traded, it comes into view from the data that makes the bar. Price has to cross from right to left, the container previously drawn up to 20 minutes BEFORE.

Price slows, price limits, price BEGINS... to..... I lift my finger (or later press the last digit of the phone number (all others having been dialed or pressed))

I have voice recognition. My card is on top I C and R @ market. I am told what I said; I say yes and hang up and dial again all but the last digit.

I have the next lines drawn IMMEDIATELY......IM.. fucking...Mediately..

I wait... three or four bars all filing the PREDRAWN CONTAINER. I feel breath on my neck......

The bar is NOT going to make it to the LTL drawn in AHEAD of time. It is going to be an FTT all over again. I am going to make the phone begin a call by using the last digit..... I do; they do; I draw the third set of lines to make the container. Repeat ad nauseum.

Here is a funny one: DBPhoenix would not draw LTL's. Here is another funny one BIGhog trades BO's.

Here is another funny one: your mind is broken, apparently.

So you reply with a comment that shows your mind is not working. You write articles that show you do not know what people are trying to say to you. Editors, like Covel's, edit and publish the crap he writes. People in ET read and comment about how managed funds trend trading works based on Covel BS.

    THE LINES GO IN FIRST.

THEN PRICE CAN'T MAKE IT ACROSS THE CONTAINER ON ITS LAST DOMINANT MOVE FROM RIGHT TO LEFT.

THE TRADE GOES IN BECAUSE TREND OVERLAP HAS JUST BEGUN WITH THIS FAILURE BETWEEN THE PREDRAWN LINES.

Read slowly 50 times. See if you get even a brain fart.

What happens when somone gets the joke? Besides laughing, they get a picture of what goes on when a person uses trends to trade.

    Have a final laugh.

How could Prentice Hall publish a book called "Trend Following" if trend following is not used to make money? The answer is easy. Prentice Hall is like you are. The lines come first the price fills the container until it fails: Fails To Traverse.

ET is one of the funniest places I have ever been.

Dave, you aren't right and you don't know it. That is funny.

  7. ROTFLMAO!!! Then why did you LOSE 24% in a trading contest? Why did you fail to turn $10 thousand into $1 million in 100 days as you promised your former IBD group you would? Why did you say Neoxx was doubling his money every three days when in fact he was losing money? Why did so many others fail to make money with your "methods"? Why have you made so many spectacularly wrong market calls? Why doesn't your "p,v Boolean relation" backtest favorably? Where's all your press coverage? Where's the Hershey Foundation? Or was your $100 donation to Haiti from the Hershey Foundation? :p
