  5. I guess John W Henry gets a lot of attention in the media but I think the truth of the matter is that he (and his performance) is not representative of both the majority of AUM and recent performance in the trendfollowing CTA sector.

    The Big Kahuna of trendfollowing CTA's at the moment is David Harding of Winton Capital Management. In second place is the Dutch team running TransTrend BV.

  8. And what of the elephant in your room? Has not your YM trade been steadily trending against you for the last several days? Is it so inconceivable that, unlike you, someone else might choose to profit by trading in the direction of the price action, and exit promptly if they see themselves on the wrong side?

  9. this is where the confusions lays---- the trendfollowers say they exit promptly, but reality is they hold thru massive drawdowns sticking with their analysis.
