If you are confused I will bring it to your level. Your constant jabs at "Trend Following" is getting stale. You don't see the rest of us running around making fun of Vic's performance or for that matter your own display of trading prowess. Grow up and go play with your bevy of playmates and get on with your life.
i dont believe your style fits the definition of trend following refered to in books by the same name, and those methods utilized by JWH, et al. yet, you are very defensive--- perhaps you'll enjoy the upcoming televised roundtable on the subject later in the summer...... ps. i'l be sure to bring one or more of the playmates with me....HA!
Another nail in the coffin for rock bands. Rock bands won't be around in 10 years. Another poor month for rock bands. http://negativland.com/albini.html
ok, i was wrong earlier about no correlation between the article and my statements. the article fits perfectly with my contention that trend following is dead. most rock bands dont make any $$, most trend followers blow out. the black swans in both groups do well, but this does not a good strategy/job make.
95% of ALL traders blow out so it stands to reason that 95% of ALL camps have there share of failures. This being said I can't understand your obsession with attacking trend traders. And as far as Vic goes, the finanacial community doesn't think he is doing so well. At least not according to talk radio in NY.
