  1. Absolutely correct.
Each market "gyrates" as you call it. I call it "oscillations" and each oscillation is a specific and real point to define where price will go and with what strength toward the last previous sequential oscillation, first minor then extreme. Where the extreme oscillations define the overall trend or overall strength of the market.
A lot of time we call things by different names but they mean the same thing.

  2. in the interest of full transparency and to answer mr. steve's querry, and to correct his misstatements of facts---- the marketsurfer alias was banned from elite due to competitive concerns of this sites management, therefore "hank rollins" entered the fray. marketsurfer has been restored to being an active alias, therefore, hank rollins has been retired.

nothing more, nothing less..... the conspiracy ideas are fascinating, keep em coming!

and yes, there is some truth to your idea of WHY i continue this conversation..... however, i have not "blown out".

  3. *Yawn*

Forgive me, but having an exchange with you is like trying to have a conversation with an answering machine. I've already heard this outgoing message. If Covel knew how often you have been using him as a straw man in your "debates," he would surely be charging you for this service by now. You certainly keep him busy. On the plus side you choose your adversaries well, much like a lion favors lame prey.

  9. Guys who went debit trading mean-reverting strategies exceed those who went debit following trends. Regardless of his recent performance, Mr. Henry bought the Red Sox with money won from trends.
